Chapter 4: New ID

"Are there any other rules for this mission?" Kat asked.

"Mia didn't say anything else," Simi replied.

Lauren dumped her bag on the floor and sighed.

"Are we doing this or what?" She asked.

"Mia said to come to the front yard. Our ride should be ready by now." Simi said

They all head out of the room only to meet Rina at their door.

"The word pest fits you so well. You're everywhere." Lauren rolled her eyes and walked past her.

"So you're going babysitting?" Rina snorts.

"With hot-looking princes," Kat said cheerfully

"Go sort out your janitor problems Rina," Simi said as she strolled past her.

"Bye Rina," Kat said, taking her leave.

Naomi glared at Rina, who took a few steps back in fear. The last thing she wanted was to piss this ticking time bomb off.

"She scares the heck out of me," Rina said as Naomi joined the rest.

 *****

Team Holo made their way to the garage and dropped their bags in the booth of the car.

A silver SUV was made ready for them, ready to leave whenever they were.

"We should be at our destination in two hours." The driver assured.

"Okay, this mission came with packages," Kat said, admiring the car.

They normally found their way to their mission destination. No drivers. Sometimes, they got a car to make their lives easier.

"I guess you're right." Simi said as they all settled inside the car.

"Fasten your seat belts." The driver said.

The ride started and was mostly quiet all the way. Kat was busy enjoying the city lights and the lovely sights of the malls.

She could never get enough of this place.

They've had a couple of missions in this part of the city for two years, if their one-year unexpected vacation were to be excluded.

Kat loved it here. If only her parents could move here.

She sighed.

"What's wrong?" Simi asked.

"I just miss my brother." Kat said smiling.

"You'll be fine," Simi assured.

"Of course!" Kat said smiling.

The car pulled over in front of a glass house on a hill.

"Awesome!!!" Kat rushed out of the car admiring the lovely house that looked like something straight out of a sci-fi movie!

It was absolutely beautiful! Breathtaking!

"This will be your accommodation for the duration of the mission." The driver said.

"Are you one of Dan's Android?" Kat asked.

Dan is the tech guy back at the camp and he sure loves building robots that look veŕÿ human.

"Yes I am." The driver/ Robot said.

"John allowed a robot to drive us?! After the last incident?!" Lauren panicked.

"We're not in the hospital now, are we?" Simi said.

They stared at the house in silence. It was luxurious.

"Uhm, girls? Why is our house close to a building that looks like a castle?" Kat asked.

The girls followed Kat's gaze, facing the left side of their house.

Just a two-minute walk from their house stood a huge mansion with huge good gates.

"Woah." Kat and Simi chorused.

"John wanted you girls as close as possible to the princes, but no contact is allowed." The driver warned.

"Yeah, sure. I wouldn't jump over the gates to see them, would I?" Lauren rolled her eyes.

"I would take that as a no. Now, shall I take you around the house and relay John's message?" The driver said.

"Okay. Maybe I want to know how Dan's code for your programming make you sound and seem very human!" Kat said.

The Robit led the girls into the building and they were pleasantly blown away by the beauty of this place.

"This. Is. Awesome!!!" Kat said running around the living room.

She stared with wide-open eyes at the lovely chandelier, furniture, the beachy vibes of the living area.

Well, one of the most beautiful chandeliers she had ever seen.

Kat knelt on the tiled floor and gasped at her reflection. She was thrilled.

The living room was the first room they came across on stepping into the huge mansion. It has a flat television on the wall and huge speakers for a sound system with an amazing fireplace with blue flames.

The house had several security codes on the doors and the windows.

They could close all the doors and windows by just tapping on a button.

Naomi settled on the couch alongside Lauren who looked impressed with the white couches and how comfy it felt.

"This is nice," Lauren admitted.

"The ground floor is an open floor plan with the most sophisticated of designs." The driver offered.

Lauren sees an open wine bar with the wine bottles placed into wooden hole-like structures. It stood in between the living area and the kitchen.

"Hello baby," Lauren said, pulling out a bottle.

"Drinking during work hours is not allowed," The driver warned.

"I am aware of that android man. I've been in this field before your manufacturer even thought of you." Lauren shot back.

She hated it when people told her when and when not to drink. It was annoying for her because she was a lover of good wine.

"Lauren!" Kat cautioned.

"Don't even start Kat. I'm still upset about that silly stunt you pulled earlier in the morning." Lauren glared at Kat.

"You never forget things do you?" Kat asked in a daring tone with a little smile on her face.

She was the cutest of them all.

"Trust me I don't. There's a whole list of how bad I want to get back at you, Katrina." Lauren assured and returned to the wine bar.

It had a countertop with two seats in front of the wall of wine.

It was Lauren's paradise.

Simi made her way to the kitchen, it was stunning! Tailored to her taste!

It was all white! The countertop, the walls, and the plates….

What more could she ask for? She loved cooking but wouldn't pursue a career in that field cause she didn't think she loved it enough to.

"Shall we check out the top floor?" The driver walked up the stairs without saying any more words as the girls followed suit.

Naomi was the last to join them. Everything looked nice but she wasn't very excited about any of this.

The stairs were spiral and the chandelier looked like a long chain with a round ball attached to its tip. There were a bunch of them that made up that lovely-looking chandelier.

Simi felt like she was home…

They arrived at the top floor and got a lovely view of the huge living room and the ton of light from the floor to ceiling glass walls.

It was amazing.

"Each of you get a room.." The driver started.

"Separate room? Why?" Simi asked.

"I think I would love to have some privacy thank you," Laure said

"Yeah. Of course." Simi loved sharing a room with them.

At least that way she wouldn't feel alone...
