I understand." Simi replied
"We didn't break any rule, John. You think I would sit back and do nothing when some random kid upsets me?" Lauren asked
"We could have avoided them," Kat muttered.
John exhaled.
"Simi, you have to come up with a plan. For this mission. So far, so good; all I hear is you're messing things up..." John analyzed
"That's what you get for sending off high-profile agents like our team to screw up mission. I am this close to hitting that Sonny kid in the gut for her smart-ass replies! And its just my first day!" Lauren said fist clenched in anger.
"And you didn't. Thank you. " Simi replied.
She knew John was going to rub this whole mission in their faces, and Simi would do anything to make sure her team remained at the top of the agency.
"I admit today wasn't smooth sailing, but I would love to point something out, John. You sent us on a mission. To be high school students. It is impossible not to interact with other students and the princes alike."
"Now someone gets what I'm saying," Lauren muttered.
"What I am saying is, the rules should have been to avoid friends and keep our mission a secret. If we are to protect the princes, we shouldn't avoid conversations with them. We are supposed to engage them if possible." Simi pointed out.
"No! Suda doesn't want the princes to know that they are being watched. Not by girls the very least. He claimed it would only piss the princes if they find out they were being watched." Mia explained.
"Girls? Mere girls?" John snapped, turning to Mia.
Lauren chuckled.
"This should be interesting," she muttered, leaning back in her seat.
"I trained these girls. For years! They can do more than what the male section of the agency can do and you call them mere girls?" John scolded.
"I was quoting our client." Mia pointed out.
"And who gave you the right to assign my girls to a client who calls years of training 'mere Mia?" He asked.
"The order came from the top," Mia replied
John exhaled.
"I have to see him. And you better book me a FaceTime with him tomorrow. Is that clear?" John instructed.
"Yes, John."
Mia walks out of the screen.
"I had no idea you could scold your girlfriend," Lauren said.
"I'm married, Lauren. Cheating is stressful. My work takes a huge ton of my energy, and cheating is another workload. I don't want that." John offered.
"Fair enough." Lauren nodded.
"Simi, I want you to stick with the back story. And till I tell you to do otherwise, try to blend in with other students, avoid attention, and stay away from the princes. No discussions unless completely necessary." John ordered
"Is that clear?"
"Yes," Simi replied.
"Have a lovely night girls. Make sure you do your homework as well. As much as the school thing is just covered, I wouldn't want teachers calling you to the staff room and digging into your background. It's too much work."John pleaded.
"Yeah, yeah. Good night big guy." Lauren said, walking away from the rest of the group.
