Chapter 102

The work kept piling up, and Alexander and Maul found themselves buried in it. At first, Maul struggled to keep up since he had no experience with this type of work. But with Alexander's guidance on how to manage the tasks at hand, he quickly caught on and became more efficient.

Maul efficiently sifted through the tasks, distinguishing the important work from the non-essential. It took him some time to adjust at first, but once he settled into a rhythm, he was a natural.

However, this wasn't a remarkable accomplishment as he was just sorting through documents while Alexander bore the responsibility of reviewing and approving them.

This kept going on for weeks which then turned into months. Eventually the 2nd Year had passed since the war was over.

Alexander had assigned Sector Governors to oversee all of the sectors under his control. These Governors were intelligent clones specifically designed for governing tasks, equipped with all the necessary knowledge to maintain a strong economy and enhance the well-being of the people.

The local Governors of each planet were chosen from among the population.

Each Sector has its own designated Capital, where the Sector Governor resides and carries out their duties. The Capital also serves as the central hub for the Sector. To promote seamless travel between different territories of the Terran Ascendancy, construction of Hyper Lane Gates is scheduled to take place at each Sector Capital.

During the same period, the remaining Clone Force Users completed their training and reached full maturity as adults.

It takes a full 2 years to properly train and prepare a Clone Force User for deployment throughout the Galaxy. The initial 8 months are dedicated to growing the clone from infancy to adulthood, while the remaining 16 months focus on intensive education and combat training.

This was a huge time-saver for Alexander, as he had grand plans to expand the Order of the Guardians into a formidable force that would operate all over the Galaxy and collaborate closely with the Military.

Currently, there were 11,000 members in the Order of the Guardians. Of that total, 8,000 were not yet at the rank of Guardian Knight, including children. The remaining 3,000 had achieved the rank of Guardian Knight.

Alexander had not counted the Clone Force Users, who totaled 200. The Nightsisters and Nightbrothers were also excluded from his count, but they amounted to approximately 150 individuals.

Reaching the rank of Guardian Master was a lengthy and difficult process, which is why no one had achieved it yet. However, Yona, Yrena, and Aina were exceptions to this rule as they were already Masters and did not need to strive for any higher ranks.

Alexander held the position of Grand Master in the Order of the Guardians, but he had yet to assign a title to Abeloth. It was a challenge, considering her immense power; she deserved a rank higher than Master. However, Alexander couldn't think of a suitable title that would surpass the rank of Guardian Master.

Abeloth will continue without a title until he comes up with one.

On the topic of Abeloth, she has made great progress with the Nightsisters and Nightbrothers, who have proven to be skilled warriors in the Dark Arts. The Nightsisters have expanded their abilities, thanks to their time with Abeloth, and have even acquired new skills.

Around this same time, Yrena and Yona made their way to Lehon in order to discuss a significant matter with Alexander.

They had stormed into his office and essentially held him captive in his own Palace.

"Master, we need to talk," said Yrena as she perched herself on the edge of his desk, facing him. Yona did the same.

Alexander let out a sigh, knowing exactly what this was about. "You two are pretty predictable, you know that."

"Then why are we here?" asked Yona, sensing that he was hiding something.

That's when Cortana appeared in her hologram form next to him. "An heir is what you two are here for."

"Dammit, she knew all along," muttered Yona as she slammed her hand on the table.

"We should have known that Cortana would be aware, since she is completely loyal to him," chimed in Yrena.

"As Cortana mentioned, you two are here for an heir, which is something that we've discussed and considered," Alexander replied. Over the past year, he and Cortana had frequently talked about this, as he was getting tired of just sitting in his office all day.

Cortana suggested he have an heir to add some excitement to his life. After being in the galaxy for so long and establishing himself, it seemed like a good time to make an heir.

Plus, since no one knew he was immortal, having an heir would guarantee stability over the planets under his control and ensure the continuation of his dynasty.

Now was the perfect time to move forward with this plan. But first, he needed to get married.

"What are your thoughts on the matter?" Yrena inquired.

Alexander took a moment before responding, enjoying the thought of playing with their expectations. "I suppose it must be done, but I have one condition - I must be married first," he stated.

Yona quickly reassured him, "We've already taken care of that. We have a list of primary and secondary wives ready for you."

"But we won't reveal their names just yet. We still need to find one more person for the marriage," Yona added as they had planned beforehand.

With a seductive tone, Yrena addressed Alexander as "Alexander" instead of her usual title of "Master." Both women moved closer to him, and Alexander couldn't resist indulging in his desires and preparing for the future ahead.

For the remainder of the day, Alexander's office door remained closed as he focused on what was to come.
