"So you tell me that kid is not feeling good today?"

The butler was a bit angry, his boss was very stressed and he was clearly happy that his son is feeling bad.

His boss said.

"If he gets sicker he might just die and that weight of having something so common in our blood will go away.'

Was he happy that his son was going to die? Obviously he didn't like Cornelius either but Alfred still possessed humanity.

"That's right father this bastard has to die soon, otherwise he'll tarnish our name"

Said the eldest son of the family, and the most powerful among the brothers, he was an extremely arrogant and powerful person. He passed the highest magic tests at the age of 6, his talent said to rival all 10 strongest mages in the world. Plus he was an important guy in the royal guard and had a lot of connections.

He had green eyes like that with Cornelius and very flashy red hair, he was about 1.95cm tall, his name was Liam. Just as his father Liam had contempt for his brother for being so normal.

Liam has tried several times to kill his brother but he couldn't because his mother always stopped him, she said that one day Cornelius could carry great power but so far he hasn't gained any power.

Liam's father thought for a moment and gave his verdict.

I only have a few days until they start experimenting on me so I better go to the vampires now. The problem is I don't know the exact location of the place, you never know where they are.

I better get the fuck out of here, I grabbed some clothes that were in the closet and put them in a bag I had by the bed, opened the window and jumped as far as I could. I jumped and luckily fell into a comfortable bush near my bedroom window and headed to the center of the forest.

It was a place that could have vampires, but it wasn't right. They lived very well hidden as the church still hunts them, well they manage to disguise themselves very well even among humans so do a long time since they are not hunted as before.

Within the place where they live there is a complete and beautiful society, there are noble vampires and low caste ones. What I'm going to see is the high nobility. It will be difficult to talk to him but I have a plan.

Cornelius even being common has a very good blood that vampires love, it's a different blood than normal because it has many nutrients that vampires love. In exchange for my blood I will become a vampire and if I'm right that guy will love it.

The forest was shady, it had terrible weather and the wind was blowing very strong. I should have bought a coat. This is no time to think about it now. I feel like I'm hallucinating. As I was walking I felt something behind me, my entire body was in sweat at the moment, I felt a sense of dread immediately, my instincts warned me not to look back. This energy was so strong and overwhelming that I felt like an ant at the moment, my hands were shaking, all the pain I felt before was gone. I was on full alert now.

"Did you notice me then? I should have held back I released too much energy"

The voice was thick and deep, he spoke in an immense calm and seemed to be talking to a prey that was going to eat for dinner, judging the energy I felt I'm sure it's a vampire. I have no idea which vampire he is but he's one of the strong ones, probably one of the nobility, if he's one of those bastards I have to take it easy and try to bargain with him.

I turned carefully so I didn't look like I was going to attack him, and made sure I didn't look him in the eye. Vampire eyes are extremely dangerous just looking at it can hypnotize you and you're all fucked up right now.

"Hmm careful not to look into my eyes interesting, Well don't worry I'm just passing through, I just wanted to give you a scare and you looked almost like a zombie walking around"

Good thing he doesn't want to kill me I nearly had a heart attack, and what if I fucking died here. I need to say something right now, my only chance.

"Okay, but if you're here then you're heading back to the vampire area?"

Damn why did I ask this question, when I just asked this question he grabbed my neck, I could feel his nails digging into my neck and his energy was out of control.

"Another bastard of the Church came looking for us"

I couldn't see his face but I need to get out of this situation quickly, vampire names are only known to each other so if I say that guy's name maybe I got out of this situation.

"I'm not from the Church I came to see Lord Von"

I said that while blood was pouring out of my mouth, it was a lot of blood, those nails digging into my neck hurt too much, my head was crazy.

"And besides what a church bastard would ask a vampire where they live"

I'm out of strength now, my limit is gone, it seems after hearing that he let go of my neck and I fell to the ground. While I was recovering on the ground the vampire asked a question.

"Did you meet Lord Von?"

I nodded my head without looking at him, I still hadn't deactivated his energy.  After seeing me nod my head he chuckled.

"HAHAHA Lord Von? Did you meet him?"

He said this in a mocking tone

"Yes I know"

I replied shyly.

"If you know him, how did you not realize he's in front of you?"

At this point he took my head and I could clearly see Lord Von's face. Long black hair, a big thin nose and those sharp eyes, this was Lord Von.
