"Brother Liu…. Brother Liu…." suddenly Song Liu woke from his memories and heard Tang Yue calling him.

"Are you thinking about something Brother Liu?" asked Tang Yue.

Song Liu replied, "Not really, just some past memories. Nothing important."

Tang Mo mischievously said, "Brother must be thinking about that Yang Mei."

He then looked at Song Liu and said, "Aren't you Brother?"

Liu replied, "Tang Mo stop slandering already." Then turning to Tang Yue, he said, "By the way CONGRATULATIONS!! I almost forgot."

Tang Yue was lost for a second but then she recalled something and a slight blush could be seen on her cheeks.

Sun Yichen asked curiously, "Did something good happen to Tang Yue that I am not aware of?"

Tang Mo suddenly spoke up and said, "She got herself a fiancé. And GUESS who it is?"

Tang Yue said in an irritated voice, "Don't listen to him. He is spouting nonsense. He d--"

Tang Mo interrupted and said, "I am sorry what I mean is that she will soon have a fiancé."

Yichen asked, "Who is it?"

Before Tang Yue could say anything, her brother interrupted again, "It's none other than Yang Tian. I am going to have him as my brother-in-law…hahahaha."

Yang Tian belonged to the Yang Family- the most influential family in the country. Some even considered it as the leader of the 4 great families. Yang's had deep connections within the government and the military. A few of their ancestors had served as the Premier of Colchis and many had served as the General of the armed forces. The Yang family was also present in the healthcare sector. The Yang Global Hospitals (YGH) was a global brand and the largest hospital chain in the country.

The current patriarch of the Yang family, Yang WuYa was the previous vice-premier of the country. He was one of the most powerful individuals amongst the great families. He had 3 sons and a daughter.

His eldest son Yang Mu was married to Sun Jiao and was a general in the army. Yang Mu had a son and a daughter. The second son Yang Yan was in charge of the special forces. Both of them were retired and held special offices.

His youngest son Yang Xiong was married to Tae Jinhi. He was the chairman of YGH. His wife, Tae Jinhi was a pediatrician and her family was from Uruk. Yang Ruowei was their daughter.

Whereas, his daughter was married to a captain in the navy. Unfortunately, he was KIA(Killed in Action). She had a daughter called Yan Ya.

Yang Tian was the son of Yang Mu. He was the eldest grandson of Yang WuYa. He was 33 years this year and he was already a Brigadier General in the Army. He had served in many overseas missions and achieved many recognitions for valor.

He had reddish-brown hair and light blue eyes. He was one of the four prices of the great families and was considered the leader of the four. He was also the most handsome amongst the four.

He was calm, intelligent, and very proud. In fact, almost everyone in the Yang family was very proud. He was considered the most eligible bachelor in the country.

Yichen looked at Tang Yue and said, "Then congratulations are in order!"

Tang Yue blushed a little and said, "Actually it is not finalized yet."

Song Liu smiled and said, "Oh! That is just a formality. The elders have agreed. Both you and Yang Tian have no issues. Your elders are already talking about the engagement. It's just a matter of time."

Tang Mo said in an excited tone, "As usual Brother Liu's information network is unparalleled. Nothing stays hidden from you. You are even aware of our families' top matters."

Song Jiu said, "So the prince of the Great families is marrying the princess of the Great families. Very suitable. It is going to be a grand event."

Just like Yang Tian was considered the leader of the four princes. Tang Yue was considered the leader of the four princesses.

Yichen asked, "So when will the engagement be announced?"

Sister Mei and the others waited for Song Jue to finish her conversation. Yang Li was sitting in the driver's seat and Zhou Jin was sitting beside him. The girls sat at the back.

Mei and Xue were busy talking to each other and the two guys were busy on their phones.

After 5 minutes, Song Jue walked towards them. She entered the car and sat beside Mei. Yang Li started the jeep and they rode off.

They had first decided to drop off Xue and Jue at Xue's apartment.

Suddenly Mei asked Jue, "You seem to be distant from your brothers. As far as I remember that was not the case in college."

"Did something happen?"

Jue hesitated a bit. Looking at her hesitating Mei said, "It's okay if it's hard to talk about. NO need to force yourself."

Jue said, "It's not hard at all. It's just I don't know how to say it."

She continued, "Everything was fine till I graduated from college and applied for a job."

"Then my family dropped two bombshells on me. Firstly, they told me to forget about being a journalist and start working in the family company- Nexus International."

"Secondly, my grandfather declared in a family meeting that I would be engaged to Sun Yichen in 3 months. Apparently, we had a childhood betrothal that no one told me about."

"I declared the engagement null and void in front of my family and left home. It has been about five years since I left home."

"However, my grandfather and father are stubborn. They have neither canceled the engagement nor accepted my job. I only talk with my mother regularly."

The car became silent for a few moments. The silence was broken when suddenly Zhou Jin blurted out, "The Song princess doesn't have it easy."

When others heard this Mei and Xue burst out laughing.

Song Jue replied, "Indeed! Mr. Jin I don't have it easy."

Realizing that he had spoken his thoughts aloud, Zhou Jin's face became red in embarrassment and he shut his mouth for the rest of the journey.

After 10 minutes Yang Li dropped the girls at Xue's apartment. Before departing they exchanged their numbers.

Then Yang Li, Zhou Jin, and Mei went to Yang Li's penthouse. Tonight, Mei had decided to crash with her brother.

Yang Li had bought a penthouse in Cinea after he completed his PG from GVSU. It was a penthouse in the Universal apartments. It was on the 15th floor. There were 5 rooms and 5 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. They had an attached swimming pool. They also had a private elevator that directly opened into the house. It had very large glass windows and had a fine view of the city skyline. Although it was not the most expensive penthouse apartment, its market value was around 30 million dollars nine years ago.

Yang Li had further upgraded the security system of the house.

Universal Apartments were owned by the Wang family. They were one of the most expensive real estates under the Wang family.

In another 20 minutes, they reached Yang Li's penthouse. Yang Li and Zhou Jin had some work so they sat in the living room. While Mei called it a night and went to sleep in her room.
