There were nine people in the group. They were Tang Mo, Tang Yue, Song Liu, Song Jiu, Sun Yichen, Yang Ruowei, Yang Ling and Yang Tian.

There were only three tables set up in the VIP section that day on Yang Mei's instruction. One of the reservations was canceled. Mei and Xue occupied one of the remaining tables. The last table was reserved for this group.

As the group entered, they looked around the VIP section. They found one of the tables occupied by two women. Both the women looked like fairies and every one of them took another glance in their direction. However, everyone's reaction was different. The Tang siblings, Song siblings, and Sun Yichen recognized the ladies. Yang Ruowei frowned when she looked at Xue. Yang Ling was confused and Yang Tian ignored them.

After the group settled in, they ordered food and started chatting.

In the meantime, Mei and Jue had finished their drinks and stood up to leave. The manager came out to greet them as they were leaving. He insisted on accompanying them to the parking lot however Mei, refused. The people sitting in the room were surprised by the manager's behavior. Even they had not received such kind of hospitality from him.

As the ladies were leaving, they passed the group's table. Song Liu greeted the two ladies with a smile. Both Xue and Mei returned his greeting and left the VIP section.

Yang Ruowei frowned and looked at Song Liu. She asked, "Brother Liu why did you greet them. Do you know them?"

Song Liu said with a smile, "Yeah, we met them last time we came here for dinner."

"You should recognize one of them. Her name is Yang Mei. She is the CEO of MLH. It was top news a couple of months ago."

Yang Ruowei replied, "Yes, I do remember seeing her on TV. However, do you know the one with her?"

Song Liu said, "Not really. She was just with them?"

Ruowei said, "Them??"

Liu replied, "Yes, that day there were 5 people. There were two other men and our sister, Liu."

Ruowei said, "OHHH!"

Liu looked at her and said, "Why? Do you know her? Who is she?"

Ruowei said, "Of course!!! I know her. She was my classmate in SMC. She has been working in YGH for the past year. She recently left YGH for MLH."

Liu asked, "So, is she is a friend?"

Ruowei replied, "Nope, not really. More like a rival."

Tang Mo interrupted her and said, "Don't joke Ruowei. A friend of mine was admitted in your hospital and had an operation there. He heard a very respected senior surgeon talking about you and told me about it."

"You are a star in YGH…...Hehehe…...why are you being so modest??"

Ruowei glared at him and said, "Stop spouting nonsense."

Liu intervened and said, "Stop fighting, please."

Tang Mo then turned towards Liu and said in a teasing tone, "Hehehhe…. Brother Liu it must be fate. You met your crush again."

Liu glared at him and said, "Shut up and eat your food."

Suddenly Yang Tian spoke, "Do you like someone Liu?"

Everyone looked at Liu. He said, "Nope, brother Tian. He is just talking nonsense."

Tang Mo said sheepishly, "Don't hide it, or you will always be single and alone...hehehehe."

Yang Tian smirked and said to Song Liu, "Who is it? Tell us. Surely, we can help you. Why are you acting like a high schooler in love?"

Tang Mo instantly chirped, "Brother Tian it's that CEO of MLH. Brother Liu has had a crush on her since college. But he is too much of a chicken to ask her out."

Liu said, "Brother Tian he is just bullshitting. It's just that I have admired those siblings since college."

When Yang Tian heard the word siblings, he became quiet.

Yang Ling on the other hand frowned and asked Liu, "Did you say, siblings? Does she have a brother or a sister? Have you seen her sibling?"

Song Liu, "She has a younger brother called Yang Li. I have seen him but don't know what he looks like. He always wears some sort of disguise."

When the Yangs heard the name 'Yang Li' a scene from 14 years back flashed through their minds. To this day they felt uneasy when the name Yang Li was mentioned. Since the siblings had left the Yang family, they had never seen Yang Li again. There was absolutely no news of him.

Unlike Yang Ling and Yang Ruowei, Yang Tian was involved with the inner workings of the Yang family. He was aware of the pressure applied by the Yangs on the siblings and their mother. However, even with their influence, they were never able to touch the siblings. It was as if someone was protecting them. All their information was blocked. All their movements were masked. They were able to remain invisible despite the efforts of the Yang family.

As for Yang Li, it was as if he was a ghost. After a few years, the elders decided to leave them alone. Unless there was a direct conflict, they were no longer a concern. Even Yang Tian was instructed to ignore them if he encountered them. All the Yang children were told not to disclose their connection with the siblings in public. All these arrangements had made Yang Tian very uneasy.

Suddenly Tang Yue looked at Yang Ling and asked, "Sister Ling, I heard about the incident last month. Are you okay??"

Everyone looked at Yang Ling and thought about the incident that took place a month ago. The eldest son of the Blane Family, Pierce Blane had mysteriously disappeared. There had been no news about him till now.

Song Liu asked Yang Tian, "I heard that the Yang family stopped looking into the disappearance after a week. Do you know why?"

Yang Tian smirked and said, "Liu, as always your information network is impeccable. Yes, the family stopped looking after a week. I don't know the details as all information was blocked by the elders. However, I know that it was requested by the Blane family itself."

"Some people are saying that it was someone from the mafia. Others are saying it was one of their rivals as their company was hacked and they suffered heavy losses. That's all I know."

Tang Yue asked Yang Ling in a concerned voice, "Sister Ling. How are you---"

Yang Ling cut her off and said blankly, "Can we talk about something else?"

The atmosphere turned awkward. Yang Tian immediately said, "Sister, she is asking because she is concerned about you."

Yang Ling ignored his brother and said, "I am fine. No need for any concern."

Yang Tian was about to speak again when Tang Yue said, "Sister is right. We shouldn't dwell on it. Let's talk about something else."

With that, the atmosphere around the table eased a bit.

Yang Ling was 29 this year. She went abroad when she was 17. She became a chef and started a restaurant in Westphalia. It was a huge success. Within a few years, she opened many branches across Westphalia. She had only returned to Colchis a couple of months back. She had decided to open a branch in Cinea and then expand to other cities.

As she had been abroad her whole adult life so she didn't have any bonds with the people from the elite circle. Most of her friends were in Westphalia. Although she was talented and intelligent, she had always been overshadowed by Yang Tian.

She was proud and stubborn but she was much better than others. Because of all this her small social circle in Colchis was small. Surprisingly, she was the only person who was cordial with Yang Li and Yang Mei when they were young.

Yichen looked at Yang Tian and asked, "Brother Tian your engagement is in two months. But you need to hold a party before that."

Tang Mo also said in an excited tone, "Yes, a PARTY!! We need an exclusive party brother Tian. It should be full of booze, drugs, and girls!"

Suddenly Song Jiu also said, "I also AGREE. A party, only for close friends and family."

Tang Yue reprimanded them and said, "NO!! It's my engagement party, not an orgy fest. You should think about Brother Tian's identity. He won't go to such a party. Keep your hedonistic tendencies to y--"

Her brother Tang Mo interrupted and said, "SISTER please don't interfere when I am talking to brother-in-law."

He then turned to Yang Tian and winked at him. He said, "Brother even if you don't come yourself, just organize one. I will host it."

Tian turned to Liu and asked, "What do you think?"

Liu said, "Sure if they want it. Why not?"

Tang Yue was surprised. She said, "Brother Tian You too!!"

Yang Ling looked at them and snorted, "Pfft….as expected all of them are perverts."

Song Jiu said, "HEY! Who is a pervert?? We are just having some fun."

Tang Mo also supported Jiu and said, "Yes, it is to relieve stress. What's the big deal."

Their conversations continued.
