Qin Ran had asked Bing Xue for a suitable venue for her party. Xue had told her about Golden Palace. After listening to Xue, Qin Ran immediately wanted to hold her party at Golden Palace. She asked Xue for help.

Xue asked Mei and the party was immediately organized as there were no other reservations for the day.

The party was to be held in the same VIP area where Mei and Li had their meeting with Yang Ling.

Mei was instructing the manager while Li was busy on his phone.

Suddenly the door opened and a beautiful girl walked in. Li looked up and smiled.

It was Bing Xue. She was wearing a beautiful black and white Midi dress with white ballet flats. Her hair was tied into a simple ponytail. She had come directly from the hospital.

She saw that Mei was busy talking to the manager. She went to sister Mei and gave her a hug and then she went to Yang Li.

When she was near Li, he suddenly pulled her. She was caught off guard she stumbled and fell onto his lap. She was now sitting on his lap and his right hand was supporting her back.

He quickly pulled her closer and kissed her lips. Xue was surprised by his swift movements. After a couple of seconds, she started kissing him back. The kiss ended only after they were interrupted by Mei.

"You two lovebirds need to control yourselves. A kiss is fine but a full make-out session here is not appropriate."

"I know both of you have never dated before, but you need to stop acting like horny teenagers." Said Mei.

Bing Xue's face turned red when she heard Mei. She quickly got off Yang Li's lap and adjusted her clothes.

Yang Li on the other hand did not mind and said with a straight face, "Elder sister I think the manager wants to talk to you about the arrangements. You should go ahead."

Mei snorted and said, "Stop talking nonsense."

She turned to Xue and said, "And you call your friend and ask when she will come."

Xue replied, "Right away, sister Mei." And she called Qin Ran.

Xue started talking to Ran and Yang Li became busy on his phone.

After 10 minutes Qin Ran arrived with Song Jue. Xue introduced Mei and Ran to each other.

As the time passed many other people arrived one after the other. Qin Ran had invited her brother, Guo Shuhe, and a few other acquaintances.

A total of three people had been selected by NI. Apart from Qin Ran, Guo Shuhe and one other man were selected. Therefore, Guo Shuhe was very happy when Qin Ran messaged her to celebrate their success.

The party was going on smoothly. Food and drinks were being served at regular intervals. Mei was talking to Song Jue and Qin Wentian. Ran was with Guo Shuhe and entertaining her guests.

Yang Li and Bing Xue were alone in a corner, not concerned with the rest of them.

Yang Li said, "My mother wants to meet with you. When will you be free?"

Bing Xue was drinking lemonade when she heard Yang Li's words. She started coughing and looked at Yang Li.

Yang Li asked puzzled, "What happened? Why are you looking at me like that?"

Xue said, "N..Nothing …..I mean you just surprised me."

Yang Li said nonchalantly, "Don't worry. Mother is very easygoing. She won't make things difficult for her daughter-in-law."

Xue suddenly hit Yang Li on his arm and stuttered, "W..W..What daughter-in-law. Don't spout nonsense."

Yang Li grinned at her and said, "Sorry my mistake. I misspoke. It's not daughter-in-law but future daughter-in-law. Now, are you happy?"

Xue glared at him and pretended to be angry. Yang Li started coaxing her.

Across the room, Mei was observing the bickering couple. Although she didn't show it, she was very happy. Her little brother had finally found someone who made him become carefree and feels relaxed.

Bing Xue had a very positive impact on Yang Li. She made him more humane and sensitive. Also, and most important of all she made him happy.

The party continued for a couple of hours and all the people were enjoying themselves. Some of them were in deep conversations while the others were singing and dancing and having a great time.

Around 8.30 p.m. there was a knock on the door of the VIP section. A waiter came in and walked up to the manager. He told the manager something and the manager looked troubled.

The manager went to Mei and said, "Madam there is an issue at the reception. How should we handle it?"

Mei turned to him and asked, "What happened?"

The manager replied, "There is a man with a few bodyguards saying he wants to book the VIP section for tonight. I told him that the VIP section was already booked and there was a party going on presently."

"The man became aggressive and said that he insists on booking the section. His guards also started intimidating the workers."

Mei eyes became cold, "Who is it?"

The manager said, "It is the young master of the Tang family."

Mei said, "Tang Mo??"

The manager said, "No madam, it's Tang Juhan."

Mei said, "Can't you even deal with a moron like Tang Juhan? What is the use of hiring all this security, if you can't even handle such stupid people??"

The manager was flustered and said guiltily, "Madam, firstly, he belongs to the Tang family and we have always been warned not to act impulsively when dealing with people from elite families. Secondly, the guards with him are not ordinary and our security would not be able to handle them."

Mei said, "Who told you so?"

The manager said, "The previous owner."

Mei said, "Never mind. Go outside and tell them that the VIP section is booked. They have been blacklisted. Even in the future, they will never be allowed to book a place here. If they still insist, just call the police and handle it legally. And after the situation is over assemble all the staff and we will talk about the new guidelines for the restaurant."

The manager bowed and left the room.

In the meantime, Qin Ran and Guo Shuhe were listening in to their conversation. Both these girls got curious and as the manager went outside, they followed him.

Mei called from behind and said, "Where are you two going?"

Ran said, "Sister Mei, just curious. We will just watch from a distance."

Mei said, "Ok. If there is trouble immediately call me or Xue."

Qin Ran said, "Sure." Then both the girls went outside.

Ten minutes later Mei became a little worried. She called Li and Xue over and told them about the earlier situation.

Mei said, "It has been ten minutes and Qin Ran and her friend haven't come back."

"Li, go and check the situation outside. If the issue is still not resolved, handle it. Try not to hurt anyone openly."

Yang Li said, "Ok."

Xue immediately said, "I'm also going with you."

Li replied, "Sure. Let's go." And the couple went outside.

Reception Area of Golden Palace-

After the manager delivered Yang Mei's message to Tang Juhan and his entourage, the atmosphere became heated. Tang Juhan was an arrogant and petty person. He had a vicious character and would often use his background to suppress others and take revenge.

He had heard that the ownership of Golden Palace had changed and was no longer under the Wang family. He was not able to find out about the new owners. However, he was sure that they did not belong to elite families.

Also, after the recent engagement of his cousin with Yang Tian he had become more unbridled. He was a person who used his wealth and status to get what he wanted.

He had come to the Golden Palace to have a good time; however, he was stopped and his appointment rejected. He immediately became angry and wanted to teach the new owners a lesson. Earlier Golden Palace was the turf of the Wang's so he didn't dare to cause a ruckus. However, that was not the case now.

As the arguments were going on, Qin Ran and Guo Shuhe reached the reception area.

As Tang Juhan saw them, he stopped arguing with the manager and stared at them. He was fascinated by their beauty. The two girls had caught his eye. He walked toward them and said, "Hello, I am Tang Juhan from the Tang family. How do I address you misses??"

The manager was stunned by Tang Juhan's actions.

Guo Shuhe was not used to such confrontations and therefore kept quiet. However, Qin Ran immediately said, "No need to address us as anything. Please go back."

On hearing Ran's reply Tang Juhan was initially stunned and after a few moments became angry.

He roared in an angry tone, "DO you know who I am, you SLUT."

When Qin Ran heard him abuse her, she became angry but didn't show it on her face. She replied in a flat tone, "You are nothing but a dog of the Tangs, who has been barking here for the past fifteen minutes. Has the Tang family let you off your leash today?"

Not only Tang Juhan but also all the people present were stunned by her reply. Guo Shuhe, who was standing beside Ran was impressed by her reply.

"GUARDS!!!" roared Tang Juhan

"Capture both these girls and bring them with us. Tonight, Young Master will teach them how to talk and behave properly."

He then turned to the manager and said in a cold voice, "Also, tell your owner that I will soon see them and discuss today's issue in detail."

He turned around and his guards went to capture the girls. As he was about to leave, he heard a loud sound.

"BAAAAAMMMMM!!!!"

He turned around and saw one of his guards lying on the ground. Blood was pouring out of his mouth and he had difficulty breathing.

Tang Juhan looked up and saw a man standing over the fallen guard. The man was wearing a mask and glasses so he couldn't see his face clearly.

When the man looked up, Juhan saw his eyes. The hair on the back of his hands stood up. He felt terrified. He had never seen a gaze more vicious than that man's gaze. He felt as if he was being stared at by a feral animal who was about to devour him.

He gulped as he saw the man walk towards him.
