Reincarnation

"Commander, it has been reported that we have lost 500,000 battleships, but the enemy losses have reached ten times more than us!" An Adjutant reported, while he gazed at the young back with awe and reverence.

Once the commander heard the first part, his brows furrowed, only to then relax and the second part of the report. The commander's true name was Aarth. As for the last name, due to being orphaned, he never received one.

"All right, you can go now, adjutant Levon", the commander said with a great bearing.

"Yes, Sir!', the adjutant replied while leaving the room.

Aarth rose step by step from being a puny little orphan to being the strongest commander in the Tarnus universal civilization in the span of 300 years. Due to his immense number of tactics, his battle record has reached a shocking 457 wins and 1 loss! Aarth has never ever mentioned that 1 loss out of embarrassment due to the person being a woman.

Thinking back, Aarth couldn't help but feel a bit regretful, for that woman that once beat him and looked down on him with an arrogant poise was now dead. Oh how we wished to once again battle her. Thinking this far, Aarth turned his mind back to the present.

The Tarnus civilization has been battling the Orizon civilization, another universal civilization, for countless decades. While Aarth has reached the rank of his civilization's god of war, even he didn't have the authority to learn about this SSS-Ranked Information, which is "why" they were at war.

The battle he currently experienced was the premise before the last battle for the title of supreme.

He reached for his communication device, and then quickly achieved a connection with his civilization's ruler, the Emperor.

"Emperor", Aarth started saying, "the battle reports are _____". There was silence for a moment before a joyous voice rang in his ears.

"Good!, Very good!", the being hailed as an Emperor said, "While this battle was small, we have learned our combat power is higher than the hostile civilization. Therefore, we don't have to attack knowing the Orizon civilization is stronger than us. Due to your merit and the one's before this one, I've decided to reward you with having authority and control over the whole Tarnus military!"

One had to know that even though he was the god of war, he didn't have full control over the whole tarnus military! He has only ever controlled 70%, with the rest under the control of the Emperor.

From this it can be seen that, the Emperor has full trust in Aarth and thinks that he won't betray him!

This can be considered as having the whole Tarnus military as Aarth's dog!

Even though the Emperor couldn't see him, "I accept your decree, Emperor", Aarth bowed and replied.

Due to the commander directly calling the being "Emperor", instead of "your royal highness", it can be seen his title as the Tarnus civilization's god of war isn't for show.

After he turned off the communication device, he looked out of the window in the battleship. Aarth then saw something that shocked him. It was a white light. "Could it be a treasure?", he asked himself. He thought it was most likely close to his location because he couldn't believe he could see the light from countless galaxies away.

However, he soon noticed the white light seemed to come closer with every passing millisecond.

That white light was traveling at a speed faster than he could react. In just a second, it covered him and his Legion. Shocking enough, the white light didn't stop, covering the whole universe in just a dozen seconds more. Then, there was nothing. No bang, no boom. There wasn't anyone to hear anything.

This signified the end, of Universe Orbion.

.....

With a groan, Aarth found himself in dark place, not being able to see anything. Being the calm guy he is, he didn't freak out. 'W-What is this place?". There was no answer. In a place where there was essentially nothing, Aarth didn't bother trying to think anymore and just "slept". After all, he was the typical lazy guy, despite his history.

After an uncountable amount of time, Aarth awoke.

There was a blinding bright light in front of him. Out of curiosity, he reached for it.

*Boom*

Different kinds of senses assaulted his mind. Aarth wearily opened his eyes, to find himself in front of a tree. "...". "Did I just-did a tree give birth to me?", with eyes open in shock, he asked himself. "What, am I a f***ing tree man now?".

"You're wrong". A voice replied, "And, what is a tree man?".

Thinking someone was trying to play tricks on him, Aarth quickly searched his surroundings, but skipping the tree in front of him. Unfortunately, he didn't see anything suspicious.

"I find your antics amusing, but I am right in front of you", the voice said once again.
