Review is based on the free chapters~ because that's what I do unless I unlock and fully read the entire novel. Is this a transmigration story? Yes. MC is Ye Feng, a long lost junior brother of the previous Mist Sect's Sect Leader. He is a mortal, confirmed a mortal and people can see he's a mortal. He oozes mortal because his cultivation knowledge is pretty poor. The earlier chapters are good, but I want to highlight that MVP is the Honey Badger. All I'm saying is, I am definitely picking this one up. It's hilarious. Does it have a comedy tag? Because it should have it. Regardless of my preferences, don't forget to test the waters yourself! 25 free chapters. Plenty for a taste test.

Just another casual but enjoyable read nonetheless, the concept is nothing extremely new, sect leader who takes upon the mantle of an abandoned sect basically and eventually turns it into some kind of holy land. There have been a few similar tropes that have appeared within the story already and whilst this book isn’t extremely high quality, I would recommend it for a read if your simply bored. In conclusion it’s just another average novel building upon its predecessor’s ideas.

Completed in raws. 2200 chapters. Great story. If you start reading this, I recommend that you stick to the end. Supposedly, this novel is the 4th part of an unfinished 5 novel series. For me however, this is the author's best work yet and a good enough story on its own.

Ye Feng be like, why the hell this dog system not lend me loan kind (power)...

A strong start but then it just repeats itself. Basically just this over and over: Here’s a power for no good reason, followed immediately by a situation where that power will be used. In one scenario it is literally needed within 2 hours. Just 10 chapters later they stumble into an enemy waking up that same night after waiting for years. The only way to enjoy this mess is to turn off your brain.

So so good, it is currently late at night because I got distracted by reading this, that’s how good it is. I would definitely recommend this to people who enjoy the whole “master gets stronger through the disciples” type thing. This one also has lots of comedy. It does have face slapping, but not egregiously so in my opinion. And Lu Changsheng is a decent person, no ruthless, cruel protagonist looking to do anything to advance. I also have absolutely zero criticism so far, a rarity for me, lol. You should definitely give it a try, at least to chapter ten!
