"What's wrong? Why did you wake up looking like you've seen a ghost?"

As he spoke, Gem Atkinson placed the breakfast he was holding on the table and then walked towards her. Seeing that she wasn't wearing shoes, he frowned and said, "What are you doing, not afraid of catching a cold?"

Forsythia Brown couldn't tell whether she was dreaming or awake.

It wasn't until the man carried her horizontally and put her on the sofa that she snapped out of her daze.

Lowering her head and looking at the man squatting on the ground putting shoes on for her, Forsythia Brown asked, "Gem Atkinson, are you feeling better?"

"I should be fine now. I woke up this morning feeling like I have endless energy. If the doctor hadn't warned me not to exercise, I'd probably be running right now."

"Do you...still feel unwell anywhere?"

"No." After putting on her shoes, the man stood up and said, "Wait here, and I'll bring you your breakfast."

"No need, let's just eat over there at the dining table."
