Seeing the endless grievance on Gem Atkinson's face, and the resentment in his eyes, Forsythia Brown softened and sat down, picking up the sobering soup again and delivering it to his mouth.

He obediently took small sips of the soup, but the corner of his eye was always looking at Forsythia.

"Drink it quickly, why are you looking at me?" Forsythia was a little angry.

Gem Atkinson still drank the soup while looking at her diagonally. He was like a child who feared that once the candy was gone, his parents would abandon him.

Only when Gem Atkinson finished the bowl of soup did Forsythia prepare to get up and leave. However, she was once again hugged by Gem Atkinson. Because of his excessive force, she was pressed onto the sofa, and the bowl in her hand fell to the ground with a crisp 'clang' sound, breaking into pieces.

Gem Atkinson then quickly leaned forward and sealed her lips with his own.
