209 Stingy Man (Second Update)

Upstairs.

Forsythia Brown had tidied up the bedroom, put the machine-washed clothes in the washing machine, and hand-washed the clothes that needed it. She had taken a shower and changed into home clothes. As soon as she came out of the bathroom, the man came in, holding a tray in his hands. The tray had some food on it.

"You're awake!"

The man looked at her spiritedly, smiling like a blooming flower. When he noticed the resentment in Forsythia's eyes, he contemptuously said, "You're really useless."

"Yes, yes, yes, Your Majesty. Your concubine is indeed very useless and very tired, not to mention hungry. Could you possibly reward your concubine with a meal in gratitude for my diligent service last night?" The hungry worm in her stomach started to call out as soon as the food entered the room.

"Granted."

"Thank you for your Majesty's kindness."
