"Is that what you think?"

The woman raised her eyebrows, "Of course."

"You don't blame my mother at all?"

"What's there to blame about the past?" Forsythia Brown replied with a counter-question, then continued, "On the other hand, I think you should be nicer to your dad."

"I've already treated him well."

"That's just on the surface."

"But he can't even be nice to me on the surface."

"Gem Atkinson."

"I don't want to talk about him."

"It's not your dad's fault."

The man sulkily turned his body, resting his head on his arm, and said, "I know. When I heard dad talk about the past, it reminded me of a just as insane Coral Ruby. I understand, my dad's dislike for my mom is just as strong as my dislike for Coral Ruby. How can I attempt to make him forgive and accept my mom?"

"It's best if you think that way," Forsythia Brown said, touching his slightly wet forehead, "Gem Atkinson, everything is in the past. I think you should see a psychologist and straighten out your thoughts."
