299 Worthy of Being the Big Brother (First update)_2

The straps were very sturdy, and Gem Atkinson carefully cut them.

Finally, with the last cut, the straps snapped, the water grass wrapped around the wheelchair dispersed, and the wheelchair sank again. Gem quickly grabbed Frank Atkinson and pulled him up.

As they reached 25 meters below the surface, Frank felt his lungs come alive, and his heart seemed to beat again. He then grabbed the oxygen mask and put it over Gem's face.

Gem had been busy for a while without inhaling any oxygen, so he was indeed a bit uncomfortable. As the oxygen flooded his lungs, he felt much better. After taking a deep breath, he pulled the mask down and placed it back onto Frank's face.

He knew about Frank's diving limits, and considering it had been years since Frank had been in the water, he was probably even worse than before. So, Gem needed to conserve oxygen for Frank as much as possible.

Frank didn't object, and allowed Gem to pull him up.
