I'm Not Jealous

"Alright, I promise you. As long as you cooperate with me, I won't hurt you."

The man nodded. He was in great pain. He scanned the room and couldn't help but ask, "Do you have any medicine here? I want to treat the wound."

A troubled look flashed across Cen Pan's eyes as she shook her head. "This is a hotel. How can there be any medicine? If you want the medicine, I'm afraid you have to go out to buy it."

The man frowned. "Forget it, I'll bear with it for a while. Also, I have a few things to tell you. The people chasing me might come and search. You have to think of a way to send them away."

"Wh-what?" Cen Pan's face turned pale. She felt an inexplicable sense of pressure. "Who are you and who did you provoke?"

The man didn't reply. Instead, he said in a more serious tone, "I'm talking to you seriously. I hope you can pay more attention. If I'm discovered, you won't be spared either. We're on the same boat."
