Chapter four

Of course Mary was oblivious to the text messages she didn't even know she had a son in the first place but anyways Mary went on with her new life she created for herself whilst her poor son was searching frantically for his lost mother

Michel got worried that something might of happened to her and filed a missing persons report but of course Mary was un recognisable who the police were looking for was the old her, Jane .

She still had the same personality though so Michael told the police that back at home she had joined a social therapy club and to look for those type of gatherings and no surprise Jane/Mary was nowhere to be found at this point in time Michael and the police were growing sick and tired from hopelessly searching for his mother and the police called off the case much like detective Murray did

But soon enough that wasn't true . Murray got in touch with her and said the police were looking for a Jane smith . When she heard that over the phone she immediately grabbed her coat and told him to meet her at the same coffee shop as last time . Soon enough they were both there at the same table discussing what they wanted her for .

Murray knew absolutely nothing about the report he only knew that her old name was on a file in the urgent box . Since Murray never had a clue about what was going on he assumed the worst and associated it with the fact she got a new identity .

Detective Murray definitely jumped to conclusions and told the poor woman too flea because she might of accidentally committed identity theft . It was understandable that Mary was scared half to death at the sound of people hunting her down and trying to arrest her so right then and there she made the decision to give up the apartment she was saving up for here and ask Murray to move with her into a new country away from all this madness .

Murray was definitely reluctant to accept but he finally gave in to travel From Scotland to Mexico to protect Mary BUT under one condition, she had to listen to what he said at all times and you can't blame him trying to keep himself alive by telling her to do what he said .

I mean he assumed the worst and thought he was going to get shot at any minute so they really did need to be careful in his eyes

Almost like lightning they both packed up they're clothes into massive suitcases like the size of the plane itself . They met up at the familiar coffee shop and got a taxi to the airport no regret in their minds .

Meanwhile the police were going frantic whilst a missing person assumingly booked a flight to Mexico and so did a filed detective you couldn't blame them for going crazy over it I did look very sketchy , it would for anyone .

So the police did what they do best and they hunted the two down to the T but when they showed up to where they were last seen they were nowhere to be found .

Knowing they had been defeated by the duo . They chose one police officer to go to Mexico on the next flight and try to see where they were going or at least try and get one single clue .

Luckily for them they were sloppy covering their tracks and checked into a hotel but the police couldn't do anything since it was in a different country , so the next best thing was to notify the police department in Mexico

They did exactly that , the police transfers the file over to them and hoped for the bast with crossed fingers

1am -

They're was a knock at the door . Me and Murray looked at each other worried then back at the banging door " its fine , they don't know I'm here only you " I whispered " the hotel is checked in under your name " . He nodded his head once understanding what I wanted him to do .

I slowly made my way to the empty wardrobe opened the creeping door stepped into it but before I shut it I gave a nod to Murray that said to open the front door before I closed the faded blue wardrobe door , peeking through the crack in between the two doors . My sight was limited to a centimetre or two but I really wasn't bothered

When it depended on my life .

Or so we thought

When Murray opened the door my heart sank it was them . They had found me already "hello"? Murray blurted out questioning the officer . His only reply was a blank face from my point of view then he parted his mouth to speak

"We have a warrant to search the premises in order of a missing persons report that originally came from " he glanced inside " Scotland "

I nearly swallowed my lungs at his words and hoped to god he didn't look in the wardrobe

Mary/janes thoughts –

Of corse he will look in the wardrobe

Why didn't I hide somewhere else

Stupid , stupid, stupid

How long do you need to be in prison for Identity theft

Wait a minute , he said missing person not anything about identity theft

Nobody knows me other than Murray it must be a mistake then

What should I do ?

Back to reality –

the officer went into another room I snuck out the window since our room was on the ground floor but only to be met with a familiar pair of eyes but I couldn't rake my brain to who they belonged to
