The War God

Chen was still surprised by the sudden appearance of light that quickly formed into the shape of a dagger and landed in his hand.


On the other hand, the man in black couldn't believe what he saw. He was now thinking,


"Hmm, I didn't expect the target to have tricks up their sleeve. I need to finish this before anyone else arrives."


The man in black said to himself as he swiftly attacked Chen, almost like a gust of wind.


Chen was immediately taken aback by the sudden attack but quickly blocked the man in black's dagger with his own.


(Chen's dagger was different from the man in black's dagger. Chen's dagger had a symbol of a rune and was black in color.)


Chen successfully blocked the man's attack, refusing to be defeated. He quickly stood up and launched his own counterattack due to the distance he created between them.


Unbeknownst to them, there were three individuals watching their fight. The three wore Kabuki masks and black clothing. One man stood in the middle, observing Chen, while the other two kneeled on the sides. The man on the right spoke up,


"Sir, shouldn't we help the Young Master?"


The man on the right asked, and the standing man promptly responded,


"There's no need for us to intervene. We know that the Young Master has hidden potential."


Upon hearing this response, the man on the right fell silent and continued watching the fight between the two.


The two continued to fight, unaware of the passing time. They couldn't count how long they had been battling, but both knew that one of them would die. That was the thought in their minds as they fought. Chen and the man in black were now covered in blood. The man in black spoke with anger,


"I didn't expect to find myself in this position."


The man in black, with his eyes burning red, said while staring at Chen. Chen defiantly replied,


"Tsk, do you think I'll just let myself be killed without a fight?"


Chen's retort was filled with hostility. After a brief exchange of words, they resumed their intense battle once again.
