There were only a few people during the funeral rite for Kaleb's brother; me, Noel, Kyle and Olive, Phoebe, some of the alphas that spoke to me, my sister Juliane and Kaleb himself. Kaleb lit the pyre and watched closely as the deceased named Timothy was then engulfed by flames. Juliane then went near him and took his arm as she gave him a consoling embrace. He gave her a small smile and they leaned against each other with their sight focused on the burning pyre.
