Exposure

Minutes before the romance...

“Lola!Lola!!." She heard someone call her name as she lazily opened her eyes, only to see that she was in her room and not where her grandfather was.

“What happened?.” she tried standing up but Madison insisted that she should rather lie down on the bed.

“What happened…” she asked again.

“Lola, you drowned in the water, it was a good thing that we were there, or else who knew what would have happened,” George said from behind, Lola looked at him seeing him fold his hands.

“What?...drown, that's impossible…"

“It seems you lost control of your self or you slipped Lola,” Madison said.

“No. .no, I wasn't there. I was in my...I remembered seeing grandfather. I was talking to him."

“Grandfather?."

“Yes Madison...aah.” she groaned as she felt a sharp pain in her head.

“Lola rest now, you hit your head on the rock so you must rest now. Once you wake up I'll come back."

Madison said as they left the room once she was sure Lola rested then George followed her, she hadn't planned on telling her mom but she was thinking about whether she should do that.

George came from behind hugging her from behind.

“Maybe she saw a vision of my grandfather…”Madison mumbled as George placed his head on her shoulder.

“She might, maybe her body was conscious when she saw your grandfather, I've heard some people lost control when they are in the spiritual realm, she may have lost her body being in that realm.”

Madison turned her body to George so she could see George's face as she placed her hand on his chest, Madison sighed raising her head to look at George.

“I just hope that she would be alright."

"There's no need for you to worry,” he said placing his palm on her cheek caressing it, then he leaned in to give her a quick kiss on her lips.

“I'm not worried about her seeing grandfather. Is just I don't want to lose any one of them, she's more than a friend to me. More like a sister."

“Okay, to cool your mind, we should play at the beach or we could swim at the sea," George suggested.

“Oh no, George the sea I rather not swim at the sea, actually I can take a quick bath at the sea but swimming at the sea for me, no. "

"Why?."

"Bad experiences.."

"What bad experiences?."

"George, I'm not a good swimmer, even uncle Ben tried teaching me on how to swim, I wasn't good at it."

"Your uncle taught you?."

"Yeah, actually but I wasn't that good at it. Sometimes, every time I enter the sea it's wobbly but Uncle tried his best to teach me."

George had a clue at this, if so possible that it could be that her uncle was the one causing it. He should have held Madison or taken proper care but her uncle may have had other plans for her entering the water.

He sighed looking at her, he leaned down to kiss her.

“Love you…"

Madison smiled; "So, I think we should run around the beach…. George…"

"Okay, let's go…" he said as the two held hands walking to the beach.

Back to George and the listener…

At the Cha mansion, Lola could not stop thinking about what George and Madison said. ‘You drowned' was funny to her because the last thing she remembered was that she was with her grandfather and how could it be that she drowned.

It wasn't like this was her first time. She laid her head on the bed, and looked at the ceiling, sighing she felt so suffocated in the room.

So she got up off the bed still feeling slight pain but she ignored it and decide to take a walk.

The environment of their house felt nice to walk on especially when she lives meters across the hall of festivals, so she decided to take a walk to the hall since it's been a long since she's been there.

She stood up from the bed walking outside as she felt the breeze of the house. Her house was near the stadium (hall of festivals) which also had the palace near it too. She was thinking maybe after going to the hall, she could go see Aunty(Dora). She walked to the entrance of the hall only to see that George was there.

‘What's George doing here?.' she mused inwardly as she walked towards George, getting closer she saw George holding a phone to his ear, he was talking to someone that he didn't notice when she entered.

“George…" she mumbled softly calling his name in a lower voice but George didn't respond to her. So she decided to stay till he was finished talking to who he was talking to.

“Bro, you need to tell dad the operation is going in handy, everything seems to work out. But her mother requested that since my parents had been able to locate my location, it should be possible for someone should come."

He paused sighing

“And also...they have this custom where intimacy Is done before the wedding." He lowered his voice, and Lola could already hear the gasp of the person to who he was talking.

“Oh, my bro!!!. Oh my!!! This might turn awkward even if this operation is going smoothly." George chuckled at his word.

“I'm only here to get something not to make any covenant or intimacy, I'm not like other guys who want to fulfill their desires.” Lola gasped inwardly but quickly hid with this, she wouldn't want George seeing her.

She was beginning to wonder who was this person exactly and also wondering about which operation.

Meanwhile, George turned his back to see if someone was there but to his seeing, no one was there.

“George... George.."

“Yeah.." he put his phone back to his ear.

“Daniel, you have to talk to dad… he called but was giving me advice on what I should do to make things easier."

“George, actually I don't blame him some people are beginning to become suspicious about your disappearance."

“Ah...okay.”

‘Who is he talking to?.’ Lola mused inwardly hearing more about their conversation.

“Bro, I need you to do something for me, we have to teach someone some lesson." He said changing his voice to that of a dangerous demon, giving fear to someone and giving Lola goosebumps. This was the first time, she'd heard George's voice or even been this dangerously serious.

“Bro.. ooh no who is he talking about?." She mused inwardly gulping down her saliva.
