The flight attendant wrestled with Adeline. Rachel's pink fingernails gouged Adeline's arm as she grappled for the crystal, but it refused to budge. Passengers around them hollered and the marshal yelled for everyone to get out of the way and sit down. Adeline shoved Rachel off her with a kick to her groin. The marshal yanked his gun out and pointed it at Adeline. Everyone around them fell silent.


Nearby, people were huddled in their seats or sheltering babies and children. A few men farther down the aisle waited. Peachy. "I'm sorry, I don't have a weapon." She batted her eyelashes and held her hands up. "I don't have a weapon."


Rachel climbed to her feet and lightly brushed against Harry's side when he stormed forward. "She threatened me and took my bracelet." Her voice wavered.
