Ty
Ty leapt to catch Carla as her legs buckled, and she nearly fell. As his arms surrounded her, she shook her head and muttered something. Damn, did she care for Zarna that much? He couldn't even imagine the two in the same room together, much fewer friends, or was she seeking the answers she came all the way here to Crete for?
"S-she's dead?" she whispered.
"I'm sorry to tell you this, but she hurt a lot of people." He wasn't sure how much he could trust her.
When he tried to get a reading on her earlier, a void and headache had followed.
The future wasn't set in cement, but an undulating and changing hurricane of possibilities. "To tell the truth, she wasn't a good Oracle either." Manipulative, liar, and plain evil, yes, or was Carla upset because she came all this way to ask a question and thought it was hopeless now? "Why don't you talk to me? I've been known to give good advice sometimes?"
