Grandmaster or...

In a small cave in the middle of a forest more than a kilometer from Holy Spirit Village. Lin Feng was sitting in the Lotus pose with a small mirror in his right hand while a dense blue mist covered his entire body.

His expression was sore and his body was red, it seemed to be burning inside. But Lin Feng continued to resist! Gradually her body began to shake as if it were about to break at any moment.

Trying to resist the pain with just his will power was useless, with a sound of 'Pu', Lin Feng squirted a lot of blood from his mouth making his body redder even more. That heat inside her body felt like a violent flame straight out of hell trying to burn her body.

Lin Feng then used his spiritual power to try to contain some of the pain, but it was still useless. His spiritual power was rapidly slipping into the creation of his spiritual ring, so it couldn't be wasted any more for nothing.

"Ghrr!!" Gritting his teeth, Lin Feng finally felt his spiritual power completely drained.

Falling unconscious to the cave floor, Lin Feng only had time to see a purple glow above his head before he lost consciousness with a smile.

2 hours later...

"Huh, looks like it really worked!!" Lin Feng shouted excitedly. Using her will, a small red mirror appeared in her hand followed by a purple ring spinning around it.

"Yes, this spiritual ring must be nearly two thousand years old in cultivation! If I can get a method to improve it, it will be very easy to raise your rank!" He thought.

Looking down at the small object in her hand, a smile tugged at the corner of her lips again before the ring that was still turning over her body glowed as if it were suddenly activated!!

"Swoooosh!!" When the glow appeared and lit up the dark cave, Lin Feng disappeared from the place, taking the light with him, returning the cave to its previous darkness and eerie silence.

Holly Spirit Village…

"Woosh!" Lin Feng suddenly appeared on her bed. His face was a little pale from his previous injuries, but nothing to harm him.

"So this is the power of a synthesized ring! (materialized!)" Looking around, Lin Feng confirmed that he was indeed at old Jack's house again. But suddenly, a bitter taste rose from his throat before he regurgitated to the ground.

Shaking her head, still dizzy, Lin Feng wiped her mouth with some water from the side of her bed before starting to think.

"Instant Shrinkage" is the name of your first skill. It depends on the strength of the user's soul to teleport to any place he has been, or place he knows the exact coordinates. It doesn't have a usage limit, just have enough spiritual power.

"Yes, it is and a good first skill! Even if it doesn't increase my strength, it still allows me to run away from any possible danger." Lin Feng thought with a satisfied smile.

So for the next few days Lin Feng spent trying to increase his spiritual power. As he currently was, it would be difficult for him to use his ability more than 30 times in one day, but the matter would be different if he could reach level 20, Spirit Master!

Days passed, and in the blink of an eye three months passed!

During this time, Lin Feng spent training his body with increasing rigidity. A person's body was the foundation of success, and Lin Feng knew it.

Of course, he also trained his spiritual power to the same degree. Even when there was no sun, he was still training in his room. And lastly, he trained his new skill to be more comfortable using it. He didn't want to throw up every time he used it.

….

Early morning.

Now Lin Feng was standing at the village gate waiting for old Jack who had gone out to fetch Tang San from his house.

In less than ten minutes, Lin Feng saw them walking towards him. Old Jack was in his best clothes, a smile on his face, and he looked like he was even a little younger. Tang San also had a firmer than normal expression on his face; it looked like old Jack must have talked to him about Tang Hao.

"Xiao San. Come on, aren't you excited to know what Nuodding town is like?" Lin Feng held him on his shoulder before asking.

Tang San took Lin Feng's hand from his shoulder before replying:

"Of course I am! There we can finally become officially spiritual masters! Besides, Dad also told me to get more blacksmithing experience from the people there!"

Shaking his head, Lin Feng replied excitedly:

"Yes, it seems like there are many different professions there! For us, this will be a new eye opener! We will finally be able to see children of our level over there, it almost makes my blood boil!!"

Nuoding Town wasn't far from Holly Spirit Village, so it only took a few hours for the three of them to walk there. Once there, old Jack asked for information and found out that Nuoding Academy was to the west of the city.

Walking to their destination, the three soon spotted two large gates over twenty meters high and five meters long.

Old Jack brought Tang San and Lin Feng walking to the front gate and they were immediately stopped by the young doorman.

"What the hell? Is this a place you hillbillies can go in?"

Old Jack's appearance could be counted as shiny and new in the village of Espírito Santo, but arriving in the town of Nuoding, he had completely transformed into the appearance of a hillbilly. The doorman in his eyes had a disdainful look.

Old Jack said with an apologetic smile:

"My little brother, we come from the village of Espírito Santo, these two children are the two scholarship students this year. You see, do we have to go in?"

The doorman frowned and a little strangely said:

"So a grass nest can still produce a golden phoenix? Does a small village still have people with spiritual power? But the academy hasn't had a scholarship student for a good few years. You can't pretend."

A trace of irritation crept into old Jack's eyes, but he still swallowed the insult and took the two certificates written by the representative of the Su Yuntao Hall of Spirits, handing them to the doorman.

The doorman took the presented certificates and looked them up and down.

"The spirit is silvery blue grass and a broken mirror? But do they still have maximum innate spiritual power? Ridiculous, this really is the biggest joke in the world. I've been working at this academy as a janitor for four years and still have never heard of a student with innate maximum spiritual power, let alone two little beggars from a small village.

Pointing to Tang San he said mockingly:

This boy's spirit is silvery blue grass and does he still have maximum innate spiritual power? I think this Hall of Spirits certificate is definitely forged."

Lin Feng, who was watching everything from the side, finally couldn't contain himself any longer and jumped towards the doorman with a jab aimed at his arrogant face. He really wanted to take him down with this one punch, unfortunately a more flexible hand caught his and swerved him to the side, brushing the doorman's cheek.

"Alright, that's enough, ok."

Just then, a rather husky voice came to a halt in front of the doorman.

Looking at the person who stopped his punch, an evil smile crossed Lin Feng's eyes before it was quickly hidden. He had long suspected that this Grand Master was seeing this little show from the beginning. The punch now was really meant to harm the gatekeeper, but it was also to see if the Grand Master would come out early to help.

The doorman glared at the person who appeared, but seeing his appearance; a smarmy smile played on her lips before he bowed and said respectfully,

"Grand Master, you are back!"

The Grand Master just glanced at him briefly before looking away with the same speed. Looking at the two children, a hint of curiosity flickered in his eyes before he turned to old Jack:

"Excuse me, would you allow me to take a look at the two certificates?"

Old Jack was also quick to respond and quickly took the two certificates and handed them to the Grand Master.

"Yes, they are both royal certificates from the hall of spirits!"

Looking at old Jack again he said as he bowed his head, "Old gentleman, for that matter now let me apologize on behalf of the academy. Hand these kids over to me, you two can accompany me to finish your tuition!" —
