Duke not prince

Only when the breakfast was changed to his preference did they begin eating. 

"Amadeo, how about I feed you?" asked Calliope cautiously. 

Amadeo feigned as if he didn't care but deep down he was dying to nod his head. Also, he didn't like her being too careful around him. It wasn't like his mama at all. 

Seeing how he wasn't just as nonchalant as he came as she felt down in her heart. Did around two years of separation make him so independent that he didn't even need her now? It was a good habit but at the same time, it was hurting her. 

However, she still insisted on feeding him. After coaxing him for several minutes, he opened his mouth. 

Calliope was overjoyed but she failed to see through this little Duke's black-bellied tricks. 

"How is Jane?" Calliope inquired.
