Calliope looked at him in confusion. "What do you want, Amadeo?"

"Mama, my classes at the academy will start in two months. Jane and Sir Dyke said I will have to stay there for as long as I complete my school," Amadeo said in a soft voice. "I will only be able to come home during the holidays. Can I spend these two months with you here? I don't want anything else, just you. Can I please?"
