Reason of injury

Calliope said as she looked at her son who was sitting on the bed as if he had done nothing wrong. "Amadeo, we are going home."

Amadeo raised his gaze to meet hers and said with pursed lips, "I don't wanna go home!"

"What do you mean?" Calliope looked at him in shock. What did he mean by not going home? Why were her nine years old son showing attitude?

"I don't wanna go home," Amadeo replied, making sure that his mother heard him this time finely.

Calliope looked at him and then sighed, "That's not how good boys behave."

"I'm not a good boy. I'm bad. I'm a very bad boy. I don't wanna go home." Amadeo's clock was stuck on the same sentence. He was deeply hurt by his mother this time. He had always been an understanding child but it really hurt his heart to know that she didn't even try to hear his side of the story when he said that he wanted to return. She straightly refused.

"Why are you behaving like this?" Calliope questioned him.
