Pushing him away

"Jane, will you stop crying?" Calliope asked as she felt Jane crying while hugging her. If the older woman didn't stop crying, she was afraid that she would start crying too. After all, tears are infectious. "I'm home. Healthy and kicking. Why are you crying? You are wasting your precious pearls again. You promised that you will stop crying once I return home."

It wasn't the first time Jane was crying seeing Calliope. However, she would like it to be the last time. She could understand why Jane was crying so badly. When Jane was injured, all she did was cry too. Sometimes, we couldn't do anything but cry just to tell the person we cry for that we care too much for them.

"Why does our Miss have to suffer all the time?" Jane said as she wiped the tears. "I promise I won't cry again. I'm just so thankful to God that you are fine."
