The last speech

Giselle stopped crying as she wiped her tears and looked at Leah who never cried no matter what happened. Even her daughter knew that there was no one to wipe their tears and so there was no point in crying.

Callum gave one last lingering glance at the grave and walked out of there, supporting the former queen. Outside the grave, the servants were waiting and he passed the baby to them and they helped Giselle to walk out of there.

When she stepped into the Parliament, her feet staggered and before she could fall, she felt someone holding her. On raising her eyes, she saw Persephone smiling at her. She felt her friend squeezing her arm and she recovered from the fall. It will be over soon. She repeated Callum's words in her heart like a mantra. Then, she looked at everyone with a calm and confident gaze before walking ahead with her children.
