The end (two)

"Daddy, remember the competition I won?" Rose reminded him once again. There was one more thing she took from him– love for studies and books. "Will you be there when I receive my prize?"

Callum fell silent all of a sudden. He kissed her knuckle and said, "I'm sorry, Rosie. I always miss your school functions. But I will try to be there for you that day."

"It's okay, daddy. If you can't come. Mommy will make the video and send it to you, " Rose said. She was very understanding at such a young age. "I know daddy's work is more important. You not only have to take care of me but the children of all the country. I didn't get the chance to tell you but I feel very happy when my teachers praise you. They say being the president of the country is not an easy job but you always do good things."
