Prologue

The day was May 14th and 16th 2024, two babies were born. It was the happiest day for the parents. The two boys were born into a very prestigious and rich household. Although these boys were not brothers. They would become close friends, as they grew older. From a young age these boys were taught they would be arranged to marry a woman when they came of age. These women had to be very fertile and would produce offspring that would become heirs for the family's riches. As the boys grew they heard this story every year on their birthday. Their fathers always talked about how they themselves were in an arranged marriage that turned out good and that their family is happy because of it.

When the older boy turned ten his mother died causing his father to go into a spiral of anger, depression, and violence. His father took out his anger on his child and on servants. The boy, scared of his father and missing his mother, took comfort in his friend's mother. Who raised him as her own. This abuse caused the boy to spiral into rebelion, not accepting his future arranged marriage. He got girlfriend after girlfriend. Sleeping with them all and ignoring his fathers words of the future. This went on for years. As his special birthday drew closer he got more and more rebellious, sleeping with almost every girl in town. Causing people in nearby towns and cities calling him a player and a no good cheat.

The younger boy's childhood went by blissfully. He had girlfriends but he never kept them for long knowing what his future held. He was excited about his arranged marriage. It made his parents happy so he looked forward to the day he would meet his future wife. He hoped that she would be nice, kind, caring and loved children. He wanted as many children as possible, because he was an only child and often felt alone. When he was young he played with his one friend but when he was not around he played with the servants and house keepers. He did not want his future children to be lonely like he was.

In a small town all the way across the country two baby girls were born just a month apart from each other. One on February 16th and the other on March 17th of 2024. The two grew up in the same town together becoming the closest friends. Entering highschool together, ready to fight the world together. Only if they knew what was coming for them after they would turn 17.
