What did you do?

Abigail looked directly at her grandmother who said "Abigail, what did you do? You promised me you would temper your reactions when provoked."

"Grandmother," came Abigail's whining response.

Shaking her head Grandmother Meng said "You know that tone will not work with me Abigail and you need to be honest. The last thing I need is you to be…"

At that moment Abigail's mobile rang, stopping Grandmother Meng for a few moments before she recognised the ringtone, saying "That is Samantha, isn't it?"

Abigail nodded, and answered the phone placing it on speaker saying "Hi Sam. I am with my Grandmother."

"Hi Granny Meng, I was hoping that Abigail was with you, because I wanted to see how you were going."

"As well as can be expected Samantha. But are you going to come and see me? I miss our talks."

"Granny Meng, when I can, you and Abigail have me so busy managing the company. Can you please talk to her about coming to work at the company and take some of the pressure off me."

Laughing Grandmother Meng said "Possibly, but you know what I want for her. A chance to go to school and university because she is bright enough to do so. But I will convince her to help you."

"That is all I can ask Granny Meng. I have a few papers I need you to sign, given Abigail has turned eighteen regarding the company, so I will try and come and see you in the next few days. Can you make sure the hospital staff know I am allowed to come and see you."

"I will do Samantha, but you better tell me what my Granddaughter has been up to."

"Up to Granny Meng. She has not been up to anything that I know of. We have just talked about her taking over things."

"Really Samantha you think I am stupid. I know my Granddaughter has done something, and I suspect you helped her to do what she did. It just better be something that I would not approve of."

Feeling chastised, Sam in a slightly different tone said "Yes Granny Meng. I am glad I could have a chat with you, but can I have a quiet word with Abigail."

Grandmother Meng looked at Abigail and nodded to her before saying "Go ahead Samantha. I will see you soon."

Abigail picked up her mobile and turned off the speaker before saying "What is it Sam?"

"Boss I just wanted to give you a heads up. Someone is attempting to remove the footage we had posted with Sara and the Director. Also there appears to be a water army coming in to protect her, trying to turn around what the images say. Rather than running it by you, so you can kill me later, I leaked to the same person who posted the original footage, a further post to put up."

"And…?"

"You want to know what I had posted, but because you are with Granny Meng you cannot ask me specifically?"

"Correct."

"Fine Boss, you make things difficult, but I wanted to make a play with it. What has been posted is 'I stumbled on this, which someone had attempted to destroy. I posted it on the hope that it would prompt Sara Meng to go to the police and report the crime to protect others in the entertainment industry, but the only thing she has done is comment about her privacy being abused and people telling lies. It is not a lie and tells a lot about the entertainment industry. Crimes can happen, and people will do everything to cover it up. Victims of the crime are bribed. Those same victims use that crime and the bribe to advance their career at the loss of those who are innocent. When is the government going to clean up the industry? Will Sara Meng tell us why not only did she end up participating in the director's crimes, not report them to the police, and then used it to her advantage? Will she apologise to the actress she took the role from to cover up to the crime? Will the police charge the director? How many other incidents of abuse are hidden?' I then tagged the director, Sara and the police."

Abigail paused for a few seconds and said "Clever…"

"The Water army is already trying to deal with it, but netizens are already picking up on it and urging the police to investigate not only what happened to Sara but other actresses."

"And…?"

"Boss, I get you are angry, but this is the safe play. Damage her a little, then come in to say that we hoped that she would report the crime and protect others, but because she did not the original poster had to come back and make further comment why the post was done."

"Fine but keep me informed."

"Will do. Now I better let you spend your precious time with Granny."

Before Abigail could say another thing, Sam ended the call.

Grandmother Meng, said, as Abigail turned back to her "I am certain that you have done something. You better tell me about it, otherwise if I learn about it, you will be in trouble young lady."

Abigail closed her eyes and as she re-opened them said "Grandmother, I just gave Sara a taste of her own medicine but encouraged her to act appropriately."
