Chapter 20: Explosion!

Naruto and now his extended Uchiha family talked until late into the night talking about various things, Sasuke was even informed about the hate that the villager's held for Naruto, of course, he was not informed of Naruto's Jinchuriki status because they didn't trust him to keep that a secret just yet.

Sasuke realized why Naruto was as strong as he is, in comparison to Naruto Sasuke had lived a luxurious and calm life, Sasuke came to respect the strength that Naruto held.

The time for Naruto to leave had come as they realized that it was already late at night and Sasuke had to go to bed as they still had to go to the academy the next day, so after a long goodbye, Naruto left the house of the Uchiha clan head.

There were a few clan members that were doing patrols around the clan grounds but all of them ignored him, the guards at the entrance had changed and two new men stood at the gate, they greeted him and opened the door for him.

The village at night was vastly different than compared to the day, all the drunkards and criminals became more active during the night, sometimes they even attempted to attack Naruto but they would be scared off by a harsh glare.

Naruto didn't want to walk 30 minutes so he ran and arrived in around 10 minutes.

He entered his apartment and went to take a bath, the only reason why Naruto even slept is that it improved the results of training because his body released growth hormones when he slept, but because of his Gamer's body he only required a total of 4 hours, which meant he could stay awake for a few more hours if he wanted to.

After his bath, Naruto went to his living room where he noticed someone sitting at the table.

Naruto recognized that gravity-defying hair anywhere and greeted Dog happily.

"Dog! How come you're here?"

Dog smiled at Naruto from underneath his mask "Hello there my cute little student, my mission ended earlier than expected."

Naruto nodded, Dog had been away for the past week and should've been away for a couple more days which is why he so readily agreed to meet with his uncle's family.

"Well, nonetheless I'm happy that you came to visit me." Naruto grinned at Dog.

"Hmm, Hokage-sama has informed me that you've already mastered the use of storage seals, so I figured that I could teach you a couple more different kinds of seals."

Naruto's eyes widened in excitement, he had come to love the usage of anything that included seals and he was excited to learn more kinds of seals.

Dog continued on "I will teach you three different kinds of seals, for one of them we will have to go to a training ground."

Naruto and Dog started off with two different kinds of seals, one could be used to decrease the weight of an item slightly and one was the opposite which increased the weight of it, while they weren't comparable to gravity seals these seals were often used on the equipment of Jonin and Anbu in order to make them even slightly stronger.

Naruto managed to get the basics of the two down within an hour and the two of them headed out to a faraway training field.

Dog spoke, "First I will demonstrate the seal that you will be learning." He took out a piece of paper and made various different symbols with the Kanji for 'explosion' in the middle of it, Naruto's eyes widened, he didn't think that he would be allowed to learn the usage of an explosive seal this early.

Dog attached the seal to a kunai and threw it far away, he made a hand sign and an explosion with a diameter of around 5 meters occurred.

Naruto instantly jumped up with excitement and told Dog to hurry up and teach it to him.

Dog chuckled to this and first calmed Naruto down, Dog first explained the responsibility that Naruto held if he learned the explosive seal, and only after Naruto thoroughly understood it did he start to teach Naruto the theory behind it.

Naruto understood it fairly quickly, the basics were easy to understand, the hardest part of creating it was creating the chakra receiver that made it possible to detonate the explosive seal from a distance.

It took Naruto a total of two hours to make his first successful explosive seal, it was weaker and less powerful than Dog's seal but it was an explosive seal nonetheless.

"Congratulations Naruto, you can now be considered an official Fuinjutsu practitioner." Dog congratulated Naruto to which Naruto smiled in satisfaction.

Naruto smiled, he had finally gained both an offensive seal and the Fuinjutsu skill, this way his speed of learning seals would improve even more and the strength of his seals would improve explosively.

Dog was impressed, even the late fourth Hokage, who was considered a one in a hundred years genius wasn't this quick and good at learning seals, even with the help of Kushina Uzumaki a Fuinjutsu grandmaster, Naruto learned quicker than anyone he had ever seen and that didn't only include Fuinjutsu it included Taijutsu and general studies as well, while Naruto hadn't been taught any Ninjutsu Dog suspected that he would be just as good at it, if Naruto continued learning this quickly then he had no doubt that he would one day surpass every single Hokage before him.

The two headed back to Naruto's apartment and Dog informed Naruto that he could only practice explosive seals in the training ground they had just been to, it was specifically made for Fuinjutsu testing.

Naruto's life quickly fell into a comfortable rhythm of going to the Academy, hanging out with Shino and Sasuke who he had introduced to each other, and training, he had started creating a lot of explosive seals as he had a plan that would allow him to level up quite quickly.

Sadly, the sealing paper and ink that the Hokage provided him with was not enough for what he wanted to do and he had to spend his own money to purchase a couple thousand pieces of sealing paper and many liters of ink.

This would cost him more money than he currently had so he had to patiently wait and gather enough money, every week he would receive ink and sealing paper from Dog who he had informed that the current amount he was receiving was not enough, unfortunately for Naruto the village couldn't just give him so many resources for free so he could only receive the normal amount he usually did.

It took Naruto 4 weeks to gather enough materials and a lot of his own money more specifically 7500 Ryo to get enough materials, the paper cost 25 Ryo per piece and ink 250 per 500ml, his own money couldn't even buy half of what he needed to make his plan a reality, but together with what the Hokage gave him it was enough.

It was time for Naruto to make his plan come true.
