Chapter 85: Minato and Kushina

Naruto woke up after sleeping for 10 minutes the system's effects fully healing him and making any mental exhaustion disappear, Naruto reawakened fresher than ever.

[Congratulations, the host has passed the scroll's test and has gained access to the summoning clan inside of it, the summoning clan may decide to test you as well so the system wishes the host good luck.]

Naruto read the message and groaned, he had done enough tests for the year he didn't want to do anymore, but getting a summoning clan did sound very appealing to Naruto, especially with all the benefits that it provided.

Naruto sighed a final time before noticing who was sitting in front of him.

The Yondaime Hokage, the fastest ninja to ever exist, and Naruto's very own father.

"Oh, hey dad." Naruto said as he rubbed the back of his head.

Minato's mouth widened in shock as he comically fell over.

"Well it's nice to finally meet you, dad, I've missed you the past couple years." Naruto said casually.

Minato didn't know what to say, he was simply too shocked to even utter a word, his son had just created the most incredible seal he had ever seen in his life and applied it to him so that he could live on infinitely as a chakra construct if there was anything he could say then he would tell Naruto that he was proud of him, but Naruto's nonchalance threw him off completely.

"N-Naruto, I-I don't know what to say, that was incredible, how did you manage to layer so many seals so quickly? The balance should have been completely thrown off from combining those two type of seals, and generating that much chakra should make the seal implode, just how did you manage it?"

Naruto smiled, his father was a sealing master comparable to an Uzumaki sealing master so he must've known that what Naruto had just accomplished was an incredible breakthrough in Fuinjutsu, individually the seals he used weren't that impressive but the sheer scale and combinations he used made it one of the greatest seals next to the 8 Trigrams seal and the Reaper Death Seal.

Minato inspected Naruto, and now that he looked at him better Naruto seemed like a completely different person compared to him, the only things that were similar were their facial structures and their blue eyes, Minato had to look up to look Naruto in the eyes and Naruto's body structure was completely different, Naruto's build was the optimal build for everything meanwhile Minato was built solely for speed.

Even the weapon that Naruto used completely differed from what Minato opted to use, the only other thing that would be comparable was their natural talent, both were considered geniuses, especially in Fuinjutsu so they immediately had something to bond with over.

They spent at least an hour talking to each other just about Fuinjutsu, eventually going over how Naruto's life had been until now, they spent a few hours simply talking to each other, Minato telling Naruto about how his own life had been until Naruto was born, Naruto told his father about the missions he went on and the war that he had fought in and the first few years of his life which strangely made Minato's face darken in anger, but Minato had calmed down and controlled his emotions.

After spending a few hours catching up with each other Naruto decided that it was temporarily enough, talking with Minato was exhausting to Naruto, he felt drained both mentally and emotionally even more so than after he fought Yagura and Obito.

Minato stood up and walked up to Naruto handing him a small seal, "This seal contains the remainder of your mother's chakra, if possible I'd like you to put the same seal on her, of course only if you can currently do it without any risks."

Naruto did not even need to consider it for a second, he immediately activated the seal and similarly applied the seal without allowing his mother to even react.

Kushina's eyes widened similarly to Minato's upon seeing the seal that Naruto was applying to her, it amazed her how Naruto solved the problem of the seal being unstable but she could also see that the seal was very rushed as if it had been created by someone that was simply looking for the fastest way to create such a seal completely regarding safety.

"Oh Naruto, I'm glad to finally see you." Kushina cried into Naruto's shoulder as she hugged him, not having any awkwardness as Minato had.

The three then spent another few hours simply talking to each other and catching up with many emotional moments, especially with how many times Kushina got angry at Naruto and everyone else in Naruto's early life, Naruto for recklessly charging into battles and a civil war and the others for neglecting Naruto for the first six years of his life.

But eventually Naruto decided to complete what he was planning to do, namely, sign the contract of the summoning seal inside the Uzumaki Scroll, Minato was quite sad when he heard Naruto wouldn't take the frogs as his summons but could understand why Naruto had decided to choose the unknown summons over the frogs, something that was called an Origin Summoning Clan was bound to be powerful.

Naruto unrolled the Uzumaki Origin Scroll and the scroll automatically opened on the part that contained the summoning seal part of the scroll, all Naruto had to do was channel chakra into the summoning seal and he would either summon a member of the summoning clan or be reverse summoned to the summoning realm of that particular summoning clan.

But first Naruto had to exist his inner world.

Naruto focused his chakra a bit and expelled himself from his inner world leaving his mother and father behind, they deserved to have some alone time with each other.

Naruto reopened his eyes in the real world and he saw the old Uzumaki temple in front of him, it was completely dark outside as the sun had long gone down.

The first thing that Naruto did was shout at Kurama.

"Oi Kurama! Wake up I'm back!" Naruto shouted.

"Brat! Stop shouting I finally had some peace and quiet after all those years and you instantly ruin it by shouting!" Kurama shouted back, and while he acted as if he was angry he was actually glad that Naruto had returned he had spent the first few hours that Naruto was gone panicking wondering where the hell Naruto had disappeared to, Naruto and his connection had been completely cut off which left him feeling empty, even more so than when the Shinigami had cut his soul in half, so Kurama was extremely happy to have Naruto back, but as the mighty Kyuubi-sama he couldn't show such a weak sight so he acted annoyed.

But that would never work on Naruto, he could sense all the emotions that Kurama was feeling and smirked evily.

"Oh Kurama-chan~ don't tell me you missed me!" Naruto immediately started mocking Kurama making Kurama even more annoyed.

They continued their antics until Kurama reminded Naruto that he needed to check out his potential summoning clan.

So after calling Kurama a tsundere one final time Naruto channeled chakra into the summoning seal.

Nothing much to say, still busy with school, history is a fun but shitty subject as it takes way too long to do, and I suck at math, but I won't bore you guys with my struggles with school, there may be another chapter this weekend but I don't know, depends if I feel lazy this weekend or not.
