Lila jerked up from her sleep in fear as she noticed the doors opened.


"What are you doing here?"Lila asked the drunk Kay.


"What does it seem like I am doing?" Kay answered with a question.

" I am here to satisfy my wife" Kay replied


"I don't understand what you mean!"

"No...no..no... you are a monster" Lila screamed.

Kissing her roughly, she bit his lips and he landed another slap on her cheeks.

Lila yelled in pain as he took his belt and whipped her.

putting down the phone, Angel burst into tears as her heart ached for Lila imagining all the pains she went through in the hands of that fool.


Lila couldn't sleep after her conversation with Angel. She has been battling with the nightmare which gradually turned to partial insomnia, using her phone to search for job opportunities,she stumbled on a job vacancy which she found interesting.


"The white co operation"Lila muttered. submitting her application to the company,she decided to make a deeper research on the company and it's boss.

"This is a New Fresh Start". Lilasaid to herself. "With this job, I would be able to let go of my past pains and forget kay". Lila said with a sad smile.


Lila stood up and went to observe her morning rituals (ya all know brushing,bathing and so on )


half an hour later, Lila came out all dressed in a simple green gown with white sandals, applying powder and nothing else, she took her white matching purse trying to head out when she received a message.


Miss Lila, your sent application has been seen and you are requested to come for an interview by 8:00".

Oh  My. God !!!!!!! Lila screamed "I am going for the interview wow the company is efficient how many hours did I send the application"? Lila asked herself.


"What would I do now"?? Lila asked herself


"I have only an hour" She said excitedly.


"Hello, this is room 305. Please get me a plate of rice, an orange juice and a glass of water". Lila made her order


" I am coming". Lila said as she rushed excitedly to the door.


"Thank you"Lila said as she collected her order.


Lila with an excited face begun to dig into her food as this was the first time in 5 months she smiled and looked so excited.


After eating, Lila repacked her hair into her normal ponytail style and applied more of her powder and a little of  lipstick. Removing her white sandals, she put on the silver shoe that Kay bought while she was living in agony.


As soon as Lila wore the flat, she seemed to have come back to earth, looking at the flat with a look of disgust and hatred.Lila wanted to remove the flat but the she remembered that her interview is in 30 minutes time.She wore the flats well and said


"Don't worry, if I finish my interview, I will go shopping and burn all these"Lila said to herself.


Taking her purse and credentials, she rushed down to the roadside and took a cab to the white co-operation.


When she entered the cab, she looked so lively and energetic that the driver had to ask 


"Young lady, you look so energetic and lively. Is anything good happening today"? the driver asked.


"Don't mind me sir.I just happened to get an interview on my first day of arrival". Lila replied.


"Oh young lady, you are quite lucky". the driver said.


"Thank you sir". Lila responded politely.


"sorry to poke into your matters but why did you come to country B". the Driver asked


As he asked, Lila's smile dropped and her mood changed. When he saw her mood, he decided to drop the matter.


"I am sorry if I asked the wrong question". The Driver said.


"Oh it's no problem sir. you are quite old no need to apologise". Lila replied


"You are such a polite young lady" The driver said as they arrived at the White's.


Lila came down and took her purse giving the old driver his money, she turned to go when he stopped her.


"hey young lady,here is my number and address if you need anything call me"The driver handed a paper to her.


"Thank you sir"Lila said as she reluctantly  collected the card.


Looking at the time, Lila saw that it was 8:00. She suddenly ran into the company.
