Calm down,the food is not running.
"It's time for dinner." Damien whispered softly in her ears.
Lila opened her eyes and stared at him after finding out that she has just been teased.
"What were you expecting?" Damien asked in a cool yet sexy voice.
Damien just felt the need to tease her and for once, he followed his mind.
"N....n.... nothing."Lila replied.
"Oh goodness, what was I thinking? anyways,that is just an instinct because I am still human, I have needs but still the same I don't know why he makes me blush."Lila thought
"Shall we?"Damien asked Lila while his hands were stretched out.
Lila rested her hands on his as a yes to his question.
They walked down the stairs to the dinning room which were filled with all kinds of freshly prepared foods,wine,desserts and fruits.Lila gasped when she saw the large amount of food on the dining that she couldn't help but ask,
"Are we gonna eat all this?" Lila asked Damien
"Yes, it's for both of us."Damien replied walking down to his chair to sit.
Lila also followed Damien and sat beside him.
As they both sat down,2 maids rushed to the table, bowed their heads in unison and started dishing the food for them.
"Eat your body looks pale."Damien commanded Lila.
"As my wife, you have to look fresh not to taint my image of not taking care of you well."Damien added.
"Don't worry,I won't taint your image." Lila replied while stuffing food into her mouth.
After 2 minutes,
"Calm down,the food is not running."Damien said.
"Are you not the one that said I should look fresh and look healthy, I am fulfilling your wish now."Lila replied with her mouth stuffed with food.
"I didn't mean it that way but you can continue,I won't disturb you."Damien responded while going back to his food.
«Ring-ring»
Damien took his phone and when he saw it was an important call, he excused himself from the table and went to the study which is suitated at the first floor.
Lila had to finish her food alone at the dining as Damien did not return Even after dinner.
Lila walked back to the room, took a shower and put on her night gown when Damien came in walking towards the bed.
"Remember you are starting to work in my office tomorrow, we will go together." Damien said while trying to go shower.
"No....no....no there is no need, I will come to the office myself." Lila replied nervously.
"Okay." Damien replied as he slumped on the bed tiredly not glancing at Lila.
Lila did not know what to do, she tried thinking of ways to sleep in another place when her phone rang.
«Ring-ring»
Lila turned to look at Damien who had already fallen asleep due to being tired for the day,she sighed in relief and went on to pick the call.
"Hello." Lila answered not looking at the caller's identity before picking it up
"Hello Lila."Angel replied coldly.
"Hey, why are you angry?"Lila asked as she sneaked out of the room to the sitting room downstairs.
"You haven't called for weeks now."Angel replied feigning anger.
"I am sorry."Lila apologized
"It's alright,how are you doing there."Angel asked.
"I am fine, how are mum and dad doing?"Lila asked
"They are so much worried about you."Angel replied calmly
"I am so sorry I wasn't able to call them."Lila replied with a pang of guilt.
"it's okay,they understand."Angel responded.
After talking about a lot of things, Lila bid goodbye to Angel and cut the call.
Lila decided to sleep in the sitting room when one of the maids came into the living room.
"Young Mrs, why are you not sleeping yet."The maid asked politely.
"Oh.. I am about to sleep."Lila responded sweetly as she adjusted her pillows.
"Here?" The maid asked politely.
"Yes, don't bother about me, you can go to bed now."Lila responded.
"Oh.... okay." The maid responded as it was taught to never argue with his or her master.
"Good night."Lila said as she turned her back to sleep.
"Good night young Mrs."
