Villain of Evil

Opening the door to the princess's room, the king talks to her:

"Daughter, he's here. Time to say your wishes."

"I see... So this is my natural rival, Vektor Drenn..."

After swallowing his own saliva, Vektor slowly enters the room and confronts Reiko Sorang, coming across a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and delicate, elegant clothes exclusive to royalty, probably made of silk. Vektor and Reiko then start talking:

"H- Hello, Miss Princess..."

"So you're Vektor Drenn... Someone from your high level can just call me Reiko."

"S- Sure, as you wish..."

"You're after the Etykiran apprentices, aren't you?"

"Yes..."

"Then, our destined duel can wait..."

"(Duel?)"

"Therefore, my first wish is for you to face me in this castle's arena, after finding all the other Etykiran apprentices!"

"Great, I think I can do that...

(Just hoping it won't get me in trouble after...)

And your second wish is...?"

"My second wish, is for you..."

After silently smile at Vektor for some seconds, Reiko points at the sky, from her room's window, firmly completing:

"...to defeat that person!"

"...?"

Looking out the window, Vektor sees a huge airship with a gigantic visor attached to it, emerging in the distance. As it reaches the sky, the face of a green-haired young man appears on the airship's visor, while transmitting his voice saying:

"Mwahahaha! Fall into despair, people of Netern Island! The new ruler of this island has just risen! Behold now my invincible flying fortress, and surrender to the mighty, the great, the invincible... Villain of Evil!"

"(Surely deserves the title of 'Most Criative Villain Name in the Entire Universe'...)"

Without knowing how to react, Vektor involuntarily lets his thoughts get out from his mouth:

"Who's... that idiot...?"

The king responds his question in a weirdly calm manner:

That boy tends to appear in Etykiran City quite often. The legendary swordsman was responsible for repelling his attacks, but he disappeared for some reason, so we are left with no alternatives..."

"(I see, the previous Kder...)

So... all I have to do for now is to defeat that guy? That seems easy for me, but how will I get there?"

"If you plan to accomplish your mission, don't worry about it. We have a high-quality mini-airship built by the Noogard family. You can use it to get there."

"W- Wait, I'm not an airship pilot...! I'm not even old enough to get a driver's license yet!"

"Don't worry. The mini-airship was created in a way that anyone could pilot it."

"If you- I mean, if the king says so..."

Vektor then follows the king to the royal airship station, a huge and spacious place. The mini-airship, however, is only slightly larger than a car, but has only 2 seats. Upon entering the mini-airship, Vektor notices that the controls are absurdly simple:

"Woah, a joystick?! Whoever made this is a true gamer, I respect that,"

After quickly learning the controls, Vektor takes off and flies to the "Villain of Evil's" large airship and enters the flying fortress, landing at the entrance. Proceeding is even easier! After all, this villainous villain, or the designer of his secretly secret base, placed LED-illuminated arrows on the ground.

Arriving at the control area, Vektor comes across the crazy-looking green-haired young man inside a giant bipedal robot.

"Who are you, you insolent?! I can't remember seeing your face before."

"Vektor Drenn, someone who is currently too busy on an important journey to spend time here."

"So what are you doing here? Go away, continue whatever you're doing and leave other people's world domination alone!"

"As much as I wanted to, unfortunately I'm on a mission. No... I guess the most appropriate thing to say is that I'm doing a favor..."

"Favor? And what kind of favor is that?"

"I just need to put an end to this ridiculous little show of yours. No big deal."

"Oh, is that right? And how do you plan to attack this invincible and ultimate robot? Could you give me some details?"

"Nothing special. I'll just use this thing over here."

Vektor then pulls out the Burning Silver, somewhat irritated. Extravagant people like that make Vektor angry, for some reason, but the villain is too distracted by his villainy to notice:

"Don't think that a mere toy sword can help you to defeat me!"

"Heh, I'll show you the toy sword..."

"Now... disappear!"

Without wasting any time, the robot advances and tries to attack with its arms, but Vektor dodges the blows, which hit the ground and the air. The robot is not that much faster than the bandits from the other day, but it has the advantage of not having human limitations, meaning it can attack continuously without getting tired. Against Vektor, this is a huge advantage.

After many failed attempts, one of the robot's arms finally hits Vektor, who defends himself using the Burning Silver. As expected, this robot is very strong, but not as strong as Noburo. As Vektor moves away to prepare an advance, the robot's arms change their shapes, becoming a drill and a blade.

Vektor uses his sword to continue defending himself against the blade's cuts, which are not that fast. For being slower, the drill cannot land any of its attacks, even though it is more lethal. Not knowing what to do, Vektor channels his Etykiran energy into the Burning Silver, to then counterattack the blade's attacks, scattering sparks everywhere.

At one point, the robot's blade turns red with heat after so many collisions with the Burning Silver's flaming slashes. Cornered, the robot tries to attack again with the drill, whose tip collides with the tip of the flaming sword's blade. In an act of nervousness, Vektor releases a little more of his power:

"Kh...! Haah...!!"

Then suddenly, the tip of the robot's drill slowly melts, which makes the robot step back. The green-haired young man tries to deliver a final slash with the robot's blade, but it breaks after another counterattack from the Burning Silver, and the broken blade hits the airship's control panel as a hot, pasty material.

"What?! The arms melted?! So that means...?!"

Without giving his opponent the time to finish his line, Vektor cuts off the robot's arms, and the damaged areas burst into flames for a few seconds. His opponent gets shocked by his defeat:

"That power... Curse you! So you have the Burning Silver with you?!"

"Took you long enough... Too late actually."

With his final attack, Vektor slices through the robot's core, splitting it in two with ease. With a press of a button, the Villain of Evil evacuates his robot as its core burns away. The invincible robot then explodes.

Vektor manages to escape the explosion in time, but in the meantime, his opponent runs away, while making a promise:

"This won't happen again! I'll exterminate you next time! Remember my words, Vektor Drenn!"

"What an actual idiot..."

Right after letting his guard down for a moment, Vektor hears the control panel exploding.

"Uh oh... This doesn't look good! Now that I've done what I came for, time to get out!"

The flying fortress begins to collapse. Vektor runs back to the mini-airship and escapes the giant airship, which crashes onto Haidora Peak. From the sky, Vektor sees another mini-airship flying around there. Apparently, his opponent also managed to escape safely...

"I'll leave him alone. I've already defeated him, so there's no reason to continue wasting time with that guy. Well then... With this, one of the princess's requests was fulfilled. Now, what should I do next...?"

As he admires the surface, Vektor continues to think until he finds a village at the base of Haidora Peak, with a much more simplistic appearance than Etykiran City.

"Hmm... It seems like a good place to look for information. After all, it's not like all the apprentices live in the same place. Right, let's fly over there...!"
