The Princess's Chambers
○♡•♤♡◇♤○♡●■•♡○♤○♡•♡●♤•♡○
Ananya stirred awake from her slumber.
Surrounded by the Princes and Acharya, she felt all their concerned eyes directed at her.
She slowly pulled herself to a sitting position and rested on her
Bed's Headset.
"What happened?"
She asked in a weak voice.
"Did we win?"
"We did." Acharya replied
"What do you remember
from that night?"
Ananya paused for a while and replied,
"I remember everything till the point where I was hit by a stone."
"A stone?"
Prince Hope asked.
Ananya sensed sarcasm in the tone.
"Why? What was it?"
She asked worriedly.
"That was the Solbrillar Gem!"
Prince Hope exclaimed.
"You mean the Core Gem
of your kingdom?"
Ananya asked surprised.
Prince Hope nodded.
The Solbrillar Gem
was a Yellow Core Gem,
told to be as bright as the sun!
Every kingdom had an Core Gem.
It was named after the Kingdom itself.
Maya had a Purple Core Gem.
Conir had a Indigo Core Gem.
Morea had a Blue Core Gem.
Eder had a Green Core Gem.
Janari had a Orange Core Gem.
Nergia had a Red Core Gem.
While Izotza had The Black Core Gem.
"If ever removed from the Secret pedestal, it looses its shine
but not its energy."
Prince Namjoon said,
out of the blue.
"But it lost its energy."
Prince Hope added.
"What was the reason?"
Ananya asked.
"You."
Acharya replied.
"Huh?"
Ananya looked at her teacher,confused.
These gems are no ordinary stones.
When touched by bare skin, it fights with the energy Core of that person till the person looses their Core Magic completely.
"The Solbrillar Gem hit you."
Prince Namjoon started,
"Instead of destroying your Core, it became a part of it."
Ananya looked at Namjoon, speechlessly.
She then looked at Acharya for conformation.
Acharya gave a nod.
Ananya was dumbstruck!
She had two cores now!
She decided to try and produce a Mist.
Golden Purple Mist formed in her hand.
More importantly, the light of the Golden mist was blinding.
Ananya cleared the Mist and tried to grasp the idea of her having two cores.
Suddenly she realised something and asked, "How did your Yellow Core Gem land in the hands of bandits?"
Prince Hope sighed and kept his gaze stuck to the ground.
Prince Suga patted Hope's back and said, "They are no ordinary bandits."
The other Princes nodded.
"They have a goal to capture the entire land," Prince Namjoon added,
"They won't stop until they do so."
Ananya looked at Prince Hope, dumbstruck.
"Does that mean-?"
A silence followed.
She had her answer.
Prince Hope had just lost
Kingdom Solbrillar.
"So what now?"
Ananya asked.
"We are planning an attack."
Prince JungKook replied.
"I want to be a part!"
Ananya exclaimed.
"You will be."
Acharya said and patted Ananya's hand.
Suddenly, Ananya noticed something.
"Can your Highnesses
give us some privacy?"
Ananya blurt out.
The Princes were surprised at this request. They bowed and left Acharya and Ananya alone in the room.
As soon as the coast was clear,
Ananya pulled Acharya's hand to have a closer look.
"The Thousand Curse Slash?"
She asked examining her teacher's wounds.
The Thousand Curse Slash was a special curse which imprisoned the victim for a lifetime. These marks meant that the victim had to take revenge on behalf of the Cursor.
When all those who were marked to death by this curse were eliminated by the victim , only then will the victim be released from the curse. Until then, slowly and steadily, the Victim would loose their memory and power.
These marks would only be visible when the victim loses half of their Cultivation.
That explained Acharya's cluelessnes at the Ceremony.
"Who did this?"
Ananya asked angrily.
"Doesn't matter."
Acharya replied.
Frustrated, Ananya pulled Acharya's hands and placed it on her palms.
She started performing the Ancient ritual of Empathy.
Shocked, Acharya called out to the guards, catching the Princes attention. The Princes barged into the room to realise that it was too late.
Both Acharya and Ananya were in the Circle of Empathy.
A Lethal Ritual from Dark Magic which could cost the life of the one who cast it.
One could only come out of Empathy if they had strong Will Power to break the bond. Until then, they would be immersed in the life story of the other person.
...
Ananya opened her eyes to find herself in Acharya's room.
Acharya was standing alone in the balcony.
It seemed like just another normal morning.
There was cup of tea getting brewed in her bedside table. A fresh fragrance was in the air. It felt like it was the blooming season.
The Doors sprung open and a Knight presented himself.
"King Arthit asks for your presence."
The Knight bowed.
"King Arthit? Does that mean this happened at Grandfather's time?"
Ananya thought to herself.
She followed the Ancient One out of the room and made way to the
King's Quarters.
"You summoned?"
Acharya asked the young king.
"Acharya."
King Arthit bowed and paid respects.
Acharya bowed back and he continued,
" The Dark Wizards are
headed to Maya again."
Acharya seemed to be frozen at her spot. Ananya was shocked to find her teacher in such a state.
"She is afraid of them?"
Ananya thought to herself.
"They aren't that strong."
"How far?"
Acharya asked the young king.
"Almost at the outskirts."
King Arthit replied.
"We don't have time."
Acharya thought to herself.
(Ananya could hear it as she was in Empathy with Acharya. )
"I'll take care of it."
Acharya assured Arthit and left the quarters.
Ananya followed her Acharya as the latter stormed up to the Library.
Ananya had never seen her teacher in such a state. She could see Acharya's nose turning white in fear. Ananya wondered what could have happened in the past to make Acharya so afraid.
Acharya swiftly paced across the entire library and reached the last shelves of the room. Ananya was shocked when Acharya quickly pulled a Royal Blue colored book and opened a secret doorway.
The shelves had slidded to reveal a Staircase. They hurried down the stairs and entered another library.
The Ancient One hurried past a few shelves and stopped in front of the fifth shelf. She slipped out a Dark Magic Book and started flipping pages.
She stopped at a page with the Headline
"Empathy"
