Ami and Ryu are detectives from a private company, while Haru, on the other hand, is a young man with either the advantage of being able to hear and absorb the thoughts of others. Until everything changed when he met the girl, he was confused with thoughts swirling in his head, 'Why that girl?'. Why did he lose his ability with that girl? He felt at peace just by hearing her mind and her voice.

Haru crouched on to his untied shoelaces as he evaporated wide from drowsiness. The young man felt a strange sting from the back of his head, so hesitantly, Haru turned around the hospital yard and jerked until he suddenly fell backward in an awkward position.

The source of his shock was none other than his total surprise when he looked back and immediately met an Ami who had somehow been standing a few yards to his right position.

Seeing Haru's first reaction when exchanging eyes with her, Ami just lifted the one side of her eyebrow while clutching a large pocket of whatever was inside. She was gazing at Haru with a terrifying look swirling around her tiny body.

Haru stood up and scratched his neck. With a hesitant expression, the young man raised his hand and waved rigidly. "Mn, Hi, should i say 'long time no see'?" he whispered fearlessly.
