"Why do you ask?" Mia was utterly baffled. Ruth Wilcox suddenly asked that question out of the blue.
"I'm just asking...if it's still there..." Ruth Wilcox said, her face reddening.
"Nonsense, of course it's still there," Mia replied, widening her eyes. "This is the most important thing for a woman; how could I just lose it?"
"What does it look like? Show me... "
"Pfft..." Mia nearly choked on Ruth Wilcox's words. She wasn't usually like this—she liked to joke around, but it was always just in fun, and always sparingly. How could she possibly show that thing to someone else? Besides, it was far too embarrassing.
"Don't you have one too? Why do you want to see mine? But...no, that's not right, that's not right. Has yours disappeared?" Mia suddenly sprang into action, her eyes widening.
