"Please don't abandon me in this lifetime!" Fatty said earnestly, gazing at him with eyes soft as water, tinged with a hint of nervousness.
Yusuf Zuck glanced at her once—she was truly fat, so fat that her eyes had disappeared, her nose was buried in flesh, and her mouth was pretty big. Honestly, her entire face was like a round ball.
Yet perhaps because she kept calling him "husband," Yusuf Zuck had become immune to it. The previous feeling of revulsion, the unbearable sight, was no longer there.
It wasn't a matter of liking or not liking her—her obesity wasn't her fault; she was genuinely ill!
So seeing her speak so seriously for once, Yusuf Zuck shrugged his shoulders and then gave a strong push to her head, "When did I ever say I'd abandon you?"
"Husband!" Tears streamed down Fatty's face once again, and then, surprisingly, she took the initiative to hook her arm through Yusuf Zuck's.
