"The call connects, and Mo Jiaolan's gentle voice comes through: "Hello?"


"Are you eating?" Ling Feng asks with a chuckle.


Mo Jiaolan is silent for a moment on the other end, not answering his question, but instead asks, "What made you think of calling me?"


"Oh, it's nothing, just wanted to ask if you have time to come over to Harbor Island for a visit!" Ling Feng says.


Mo Jiaolan is somewhat surprised, she hesitates for a moment then says, "Stop kidding, tell me, do you need me over there for something?"


Ling Feng praises her, then says as if to take credit, "I met a Ms. Chen here, she's interested in investing in us, so I thought you could come over and talk with her!"


"Ms. Chen? What's her name?" Mo Jiaolan asks.


Mo Jiaolan's voice is filled with surprise, then she says, "Okay, I'll set aside what I'm working on and try to get to Harbor Island tonight!"
