Hunch

"He is dangerous. Very dangerous." She thought immediately, without even understanding where this kind of premonition, this inexplicable understanding came from. But she knew. What in the end, however, had not prevented her from wanting to know him."

"Can I sit down?" he continued, pointing to the free seat next to her.

"Of course. It is not my bench after all." She pointed out without laughing.

"Yes," he nodded nonchalantly, "but you, you belong to you, and it is what interests me." Then as well to start with a simple question for this meeting.

And the tall man sat down with a natural grace that made the young woman shiver as no one else ever did before him.

"And who says I'm going to let this happen to me?"

For all answer, he only shrugged his shoulders and gave her an irresistible warm smile which frightened her instead of reassuring her, for she had the strange conviction that this form of human warmth was foreign to the true nature of this man.
