Chapter 1 : Portals
Approximately 150 years ago, a portal from another world has opened.
Beings that are unknown have begun to pour out from the portal, a total of 5 portal was opened. Each portal has different kinds of species that are appearing, each portal emerged at the corners of the world. Each portal was named also according to the beings that came from the portal.
1. Insect Portal, located near the Elven Forest called Philim Forest, caused the Elves to evacuate the forest and the settlements around the forest to retreat into Elven cities. It is called Insect Portal as Insect Humanoid are the ones pouring out from the Portal, humanoid ants are dominant but also Giant Mantis, Giant Bombardier Beetle, and many others. The way they move coordinated indicates that there is a leader or Leaders, to differentiate the name from normal Insects the term Colonies are used, Colonies shows little intelligence but some shows outstanding Intelligence, the one that shows Intelligence is known to speak the human tongue, the reason why are unknown.
2. Modern Human Portal, located in the Human Kingdom of Philantrom, causing the destruction of the Kingdom, the portal are identified to connect to a world where the humans have a modern civilization, projectile weapons are commonly used by the humans that came from the portal, they look like humans but lack in the terms of magic, thus they are way weaker than any other species that come from the portals. It was closed by the Human Archmage Julius, 120 years ago with the sacrifice of 100.000 human mages and Julius's life to close the portal, causing 80 years of human mage crisis, but after 80 years, the human mage society was restored as before. The victory over the modern humans signaled the counter-attack of the people against otherworld beings.
3. Hellspawns Portal, located inside the Demon Kings Territory, almost caused the extinction of the Demons because during the attack the demons were hostile towards other species causes no other countries wants to help, as such the Demon King signed a peace treaty and offers to pay the damages from the constant fighting, other countries first doubted the Demon King's offer except for King Pendragon from the Human Kingdom Britance, accept the offer but refused the payment from the Demon King as he thought they will have a hard time after the paid for the damages that might as well cause the extinction of the Demons, so he refused. Although Britance suffered the most from the Demons, King Pendragon convinced the People of Britance to help the demons for after all they have done, some people accepts but not a small portion refused, the Britance Kingdom is the only Human Power in the Continent after the fall of Philantrom due to the Modern Humans, Britance also is the Place where Archmage Julius originated. Then after a long speech from King Pendragon to calm the people, Britance extends their hand for free to the Demons, providing food and shelter for the Demons. Other countries then felt speechless from how King Pendragon acts, in order to make the Demons comfortable while taking shelter in Britance, King Pendragon married the eldest daughter of the Demon King, Lillia, enhancing the bonds between demons and humans, this results in more marriage between humans and demons to appear more in Britance, after 50 years, the Demons fully lived in harmony in Britance, many Demons become nobles and officers in the Britance army, Demons never forget the Kindness shown by King Pendragon, all the Demon nobles treated their people with respect and kindness as such, People of Britance under a Demon noble have no problem when a demon is their leader. Now it is normal to see a demon as a citizen of Britance. Hellspawns are creatures with an unruly and hideous appearance, often showing a humanoid appearance, dog-like appearance, flying creatures, and giant creatures with a variety of appendages, appearance even abilities. Magic does not work on Hellspawns, as they can negate it like breathing, most of the demons fighting capability is using magic, as such it is useless for the demons to fight the Hellspawns with magic, they use close-range combat but are quickly defeated by the Hellspawns due to their superior fighting skills, Humans, however, are superior in fighting skill due to Aura possessed by the humans that are a different kind from magic, and effective against the Hellspawns, this factor is the only thing that could hold the line against the Hellspawns, Human aura is effective against the Hellspawns as such in the army against the Hellspawns consist mostly of Humans and Karazins, others become the supporting forces in the army against Hellspawns. Hellspawns show no sign of Intelligence as they act solely to instinct and kill anyone they see and eat them.
4. Undead Portal, just as the name implied, Undeads are the ones pouring out of the portal, located in the Karazin's Island of Serenity, now an Island of Death, it is just off the coast of the Karazin's City, Analomous. Undeads such as Skeletons, living corpse or zombies, Wraiths, Banshees, and Ghouls. They built a bridge from the Island to the Main land using bones created by the Elder Liches, a powerful undead that uses death magic at its command, some necromancers are also reported by the Karazin's Scouts, they are known to be led by the Undead King named Velk. The Undeads worship Velk as if he is some sort of Apostle of a God of Death, currently the God of Death's information is close to none, as no sight of him was seen or name was heard, even the term God of Death are heard once the moment the portal opened, as declared by King Velk
"We must cleanse this land and present it to the God of Death as a gift for his benevolence that he has given to us poor souls... MARCH!!!! I SAY MARCH!!! Conquer these lands in the name of the God of Death"
No further records of the Term God of Death was heard after what King Velk has said, as the Undeads have no records of possessing the capability to communicate using any means.
5. Unidentified Portal, Located far from any civilization, this portal opened in the middle of a desert far from any country, the No Man's Desert, the closest Civilization being the Elven Kingdom, that is Approximately 500 Kriks( 250 KM) from the Elven Kingdom, Scholars have been deployed to study the portal and find a way to close the portal without any sacrifice, it is currently harmless as such it won't be closed anytime soon.
A strange thing happened 50 years ago, a strange light came from the Unidentified Portal, and it rose to the sky where every single living being can see the light in the sky. The Light Disperse and started to form objects that seems to tell a story to the people of this world.
It started with a map of the World and then 5 Portals were added in the map, their location are exactly the same as the 5 otherworldly portals, it shows the beings inside of these portals except the 5th one, as it simply doesn't show the 5th portal in the story, then it shows Archmage Julius in sealing the 2nd Portal, then it shows King Velk, it also shows the Queens from the 1st portal and A King of Hellspawns that looks like a Giant with 8 Arms 4 foot and 3 eyes. it shows the leader from each portal except the 2nd and 5th, then these leaders unleashed their army to our world.
Chaos is everywhere in the story, but then the light fades and form a baby, this tells the story of the baby, the baby grows until adulthood, it shows that the baby eventually becomes a leader of an Allied Army, and kills all the leader, and closes the remaining portal, except the 5th one, the light then disappears and it is written in the sky with human writings
"There will be born a child of a man, with the help of the Demons he will bring the invaders to their place, and he will become the king of the world, a leader for the people, He will bring peace to the world, wielding a sword made by the Demons, he will decimate his enemies and bring light in the dark.
He shall be born from a noble house of man, and he will be born in the brightest day while also born in the Darkest night. Born with no talent but great effort. Born with not experiencing the slightest parental love. Born as a trash of the lowest of the low and rise to the highest of the high. for he will be truly be the savior of the world. he shall know what is violence and know what is passion, both ruthless and kind, he shall see the world different from anyone and he shall have different hand from anyone, the world is destined to be his."
That is what the story said, and this is recorded by scholars and passed down to the next generation, and the Child in the Prophecy never came, for 50 Years we thought it was an anomaly, a lie, a trick, but we started to believe it is true, from that day, the day I was born, and the Day the 5th Portal's beings have started to emerge.
