Marriage.
This is something that almost every girl, at some point in her life, has had to think about; something she has had to dream about and even fantasize about. But when you've spent many years of your life surviving than living, such a thing is far, far down the list of concerns, let alone the main one, and that was the case for Ndeye and Coumba whose marriages were at stake.
Indeed, after their marriage proposals, Moha and Mahmoud had agreed that their weddings would be celebrated on the same day, a decision appreciated by Ndeye and Coumba.
That is why, on March 8, 2578, they sat separately, each in their room, and with the help of the daughters of their families-in-law and the pack, prepared to join their husbands downstairs.
Once ready, they joined each other in the corridor before walking hand in hand towards their future husbands. And as they walked, they lost themselves in their memories.
