Chapter 16

The next morning, all my schoolmates and I gathered in the schoolyard to do our regular morning roll call.

"Good morning, junior spy!" greeted Mr. Ferdy.

All the students had swarmed up the small podium in the middle, including me. Today apparently no missions were auctioned off, everything was considered complete.

"This morning, however, we shall hear of some of the violations of junior spies around us, as examples so that no one will repeat it again," Mr. Ferdy continued. "The first violation of Armand, black mission team, was careless to leave a spy suitcase at a mini-market. Then Shila, the black mission team, was fighting directly with the target in front of an uninformed civil society. Then Cordova, the red mission team, intentionally interfered with the mission of another team without the order of any superiors."

I was shocked to hear Dova's name mentioned in the last seconds. It made me felt guilty, it was all my fault. Poor Dova. It wasn't entirely his fault.
