Chapter 21

In these critical and desperate times, I didn't know why the unexpected events always turned up. Suddenly my phone rang, breaking my concentration. Plus, it turned out it was Mr. Tomi, who rarely contacted me. This should be something very important, perhaps even an emergency, happening at home.

Finally, since Dova had not answered my calls, I decided to answer Mr. Tomi first.

"Hello, Miss Suri. Possibly tomorrow there will be many guests at home on holidays, I hope Miss Suri can come home soon," explained Mr. Tomi. He's really a to the point person, so I didn't need to mince words too long. "Our guest is very important."

It seemed that statement is not an offer, but a must. But I didn't know what to say. Plus, the mission wasn't complete either.

"I'll call back later," I answered quickly. Suddenly the elevator door opened, I hurried up to the first floor.

"Sorry I was busy,"

Suddenly I hear Dova's voice in my ear.
