CHAPTER 06

Meeting her otaku friend.

Satsuki crossed her arms and she raised her eyebrows, “So do I have to be your chaperon because of your flirting time because?” Satsuki asked me and I just laughed at her.

“So you don’t want it? Why not learn from me how you can get your crush. Oh no, your contractual boyfriend perhaps.” I pat her shoulders and her face went flushed and she suddenly got mad,” There’s no way that I would fall for that man! Never! I can like any other guys just not that red flag guy! Does he seem like he can just order me and fool around me? No!”

She looked so mad haha! Well she has been having that love-hate relationship with him ever since then. Ever since that Chang Heng find out about her secret he always find his way to tease her that’s why Satsuki always looked so mad at him. Geez, those two! I just hope that she won’t be in trouble this time around she knows that I’ll scold her if she did! Whatever. I shouldn’t be really thinking about them. What I know is that Akane is here so might as well that I find him! He might be possibly be here. Plus we talked about it.I was tapping my camera when a guy suddenly got closer to me. It was actually him.

“Akane!” I shouted and he smiled at me and he looked a bit tired. I wonder what happened to him though? I can’t help but feel so worried about him. I can only hope that he’s okay. I got closer to him and I stood up and a bit and then I decided to check on him. I touched his forehead and I can’t stop worrying about him, “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine..”

He looked at his manager and he clicked his tongue and he suddenly looked so pissed off, “I can deal here on my own. At least in my gig, let me rest..please,”

“Tch,” His manager said. Looks like this is not the same manager that I saw last time.Because the last time that I saw, I know that it was his sister who handled him. I can’t help but worry about him more.

When I mentioned his name to my classmates, I couldn’t believe that he was that popular! He was an actor, on top of that, he was very known because of his gigs. Well, I do love his singing. That’s why I always hang out here in Padis because of that. Satsuki rolled her eyes and she pushed me away, “You just made me your third wheel, how could you!? Whatever, I still do my drafts in BL, so I’ll cheer your flirting sessions then!” She shouted to me and I just bumped into her. She was too loud.

I looked around the chairs and I was surprised that Akane just pulled me around. He decided to take me to the place where there’s no people around us. I sat at the table and stared at him for a while. He looked so stressed and then I sip on my juice and I sighed. Even if he won’t say anything, I know that he was troubled. With this close, I can see how handsome he was you know! He may look like an angel when he was singing or in front of the camera but I’m the only one who can see the real him. It will only be me.

“I’m not..the managers and the entertainment that I’ve been with was too manipulative,” Akane said and he sighed, “I was forced to become an actor and to take this theater arts because of my family. It’s not only that Harumi, I have to look for jobs...not just a bartender but other jobs too because my father was sick...I know that we just met because we got the same interest so I’m sorry If I looked like this.”

I suddenly laughed at him and I shook my head, “You got a big problem out there dude! Come on, you’re not a trouble. You know what, let’s go. We shall have some anime marathon! Remember those anime that I recommended you?”

“Tch, that BL? You fooled me out there. The other anime that you recommended to me is I'm Being Harassed By the Sexiest Man of the Year. That Takato. You said that was the romance? But it was a freaking BL Romance!” He shouted at me and looked so irritated at me and I just hold my mouth and I couldn’t stop laughing at him.

Well, I’m not that normal. So it’s a normal thingy for a fujioshi like me to tease him when things like that happened you know. I’m always like this. It’s not that I’m ashamed about it. The last time that I have tried this towards the man that I like, I ended up receiving some hate comments on him. I was just in high school at that time. I got no friends other than Satsuki. And just like her, I came from a known family, that’s why when it was revealed that I’m a nerd, an otaku, and most importantly a fujioshi most of the people around me looked at me as if I’m the most disgusting person and they bullied me. I’ve got no friends at all. But Oliver and Satsuki were always at my side.

I guess I’m used to being an introvert, and I am used to having this bitch face of mine that’s why no one can easily break me. I’m used to being alone that’s why when Akane became my friend and even if we talk for a couple of minutes I became so happy because of that. But to fall in love with someone? I don’t think I can ever think about falling in love you know! Akane ended up taking me to his exclusive condo and I was surprised at how big it was so I went on the window and I was mesmerized by how high I was in here. “Waaaaaah!!! So high!” I shouted

He just chuckled at me and he laughed, “Hey, you might get dizzy over there. Well, Sis Zabie does that though.”

I laughed at him for a bit and I nodded. Looks like he was close with his sister. And I feel like I can get close with that sister too! Of course, I’ll drop the formalities now, who knows Akane might be my future boyfriend so I’ll ready myself for that. I looked around the place and I saw plastic in his sofa and I saw that he bought some anime DVDs and I shook my head, “You can watch them on a laptop or on the computer you know.”

“Too slow,” He shrugged

I nodded at him after. I looked at those DVDs that he bought and I was surprised that he bought the ones that I recommended to him! I saw the DVDs of Black Clover, Naruto, and My hero academia. I hold my cheeks and I smiled at him,” So what do you want to watch first? Even if we watched till 3 am, I’m definitely in! As long as you’re with me! Plus this can help you not to think about the management. We’re friends after all.” I told him

“Black Clover..”

“Sure, sure! I’ll set up the dvd then.” I said

“You seemed like a cheerful person Harumi. You’re not shy on what you are, it makes you unique.” Akane smiled at me and I went flustered because of that. Come on, he just smiled didn’t he? Why does he need to be so handsome when he smiles like that? I waved my hand and I couldn’t help but to feel tense around here. He got closer to me and he pat my head, “I’ll just fix my guitar. Start the anime without me.”

I nodded at him and I smiled at him. I quickly put the DVD and then I took off my rubber shoes and I fixed my ponytail. I grabbed the pillow with me and I started watching. I think he’ll catch up with me if ever. Akane got closer to me and he sat next to me. He got some towel on his hair and I couldn’t help but to chuckled at him. Come on, he looks like a kid!I wiped his hair and I shook my head, “You looked like a kid.”

He stared at me seriously and he glared at me. I gulped a bit and I waved my hand, “Okay, okay! I’m not gonna tease you!” I laughed at him and I continue wiping his hair. He was kinda scary sometimes. He touches my hair and his eyes lit up a bit and he observes it, “Dark green emerald hair..”

“Is there something wrong with my hair?” I asked him

Akane shook his head and he smiled, “Nothing. That will be okay, let’s just watch photojournalist.”

“Okay, Actor!” I said and I laughed at him.
