Omen

Lenneza, Lorraine, and Leonard were beta testing the incomplete game of Cubecraft. It was a plagiarized version of Minecraft, sure. But c'mon, a game of its simplicity is what made the game great. And besides, it's very uneventful so it's better to do something.

"Brother! I hate these creepers!"

"Those mobs are intended."

"Ugh…"

As Lorraine watched as her newly built shack was destroyed by a measly four-footed green creature that seems to be worse than a goblin.

"I hate these little zombies."

"Hahaha, they're intended to be that way."

Lenneza complained as she was just killed in-game by a baby zombie. And the announcement from the chat in the game made Leonard cackle.

"Do you think it'd be great if there was a gun in here for gunpowder?"

"If I added flintlock guns would it take you a whole minute to reload it? So yeah bows are better. I'm not adding guns."

—knock knock.

"Ah speak of the devil she's here."

It's been a few months ever since the engagement talk, time moved forward as it was uneventful. Yula would often visit Leonard, but since they have nothing to talk about or do, he just invited her to play with them in cubecraft.

"Come in."

A girl with black hair came into the room with a servant behind her, the first thing she did was greet Lorraine.

"Hi baby~"

"I'm not a baby!"

Even though Lorraine protested, Lorraine still stopped playing her game and went up to Yula and gave her a warm hug.

"Look! Look! Sister, I made a house just like you said!"

Yula went up to Lorraine's laptop to see what she created, as things were getting bigger, Lorraine was given a laptop so she could stop using Leonard's computer as he was coding there. Lenneza also had a laptop, where she started doing her thing aside from playing with Leonard and Lorraine.

Yula was given a laptop since she would play there as well. And she could use it for other things.

"Young lady, please refrain from doing such a—"

"Hey, you servant."

Leonard interrupted the servant of the Marquis sent to monitor Yula. He pointed outside.

"Get out, I only gave Yula permission to come in here. Go get yourself a chair and wait outside. The wifi for the servants is ServantsWifi123."

After the servant monitoring Yula was kicked out Yula sighed a breath of relief.

"Felt suffocating huh?"

The first to talk was Lenneza, she was still glued on the laptop as she laid down on Leonard's bed ungracefully, the last thing for her to completely look like a neet is some bags of chips and a large soda.

"Yeah, he's with me every damn day. Ugh… thank you though…"

"Yeah, even though you told me you'll teach me martial art as part of the engagement, I didn't know you were good at designing things. Your knowledge is something I greatly need."

Leonard gave her praise when he asked her to play with them Leonard's design of blocks and items in the game was… slightly decent. When Yula came in the game design was completely renewed, it was stunning beyond words.

All he needed now was to add the images and code them in, once he was done with that he looked at Lenneza.

"I'm tired."

"What?" she was a bit confused why Leonard would just say this out of nowhere. "What's wrong?"

"Can I just… make a team here? I have no idea how to release a game."

When Leonard said those words, Yula's head twitched up with enthusiasm. She walked forward to Leonard and said in a delighted tone.

"Oh! Leo~ I have good news for you!"

"What?"

"I'm good at gathering good people! If you let me, I could make a team for you!" Yula said with vigor.

"I know, that's why you're here in the first place."

Leonard said with a bit of indifference. He just indirectly complimented himself while complimenting others, Yula looked at him for a few seconds before eventually getting it.

"Anyways, sure. I could at least provide you with resources."

"Wait, you're going to let her?" Lenneza interjected with a questioning look.

"Yeah, why not? And besides, you're going with her."

Lenneza was about to protest but she pulled her words and instead thought about it. She could learn about Yula in this current timeline so why wouldn't she take this opportunity?

"Alright."

Lenneza sighed and nodded. If they could help Leonard with his project she would be glad, they only kept playing and she felt it was never enough.

And since Yula was also here, who's good at business back at the first iteration it would greatly heighten the chance of the game being successful once it was released.

"Okay~ I'm in your care, Sister-in-law." Yula grinned

Lenneza's eyelid twitched but she didn't know why, well it doesn't matter, after all, Yula is just a Fiance while she was the sister— the older sister.

"Well, how do we form a good team?"

"Well, Since I'm allowed for the resources I'll let you in the. First, we need to hire people—"

"Duh"

"Let me finish— ahem. Then we do a screening, basically straining the best of them left. The ones who didn't make it could be part of another department…"

Yula talked about systems and how a company should be handled, mind you this was just a game. An indie game as Leonard is the only one working in the game.

After a few minutes of talking Lenneza and Yula went out to exactly find people fitting for a company. Meanwhile, Leonard and Lorraine are testing out battle mechanics of cubecraft and Leonard was not enjoying Lorraine throwing instant damage II splash potions at him.

"See, what did I tell you? I knew you found me even under the sea."

Alexander looked at Yuri with the same, blank inorganic smile as it was filled with malice although it looked gentle in the picture.

"That damn magic of yours."

"Hahaha…"

Alexander gave a dry laugh at Yuri's insult, A dark substance the size of a worm groveled out of his palm. Then came together like a mass of hair clumping together.

"We're at the depth of 4 kilometers below sea level. Normal people won't be able to handle that pressure you know?"

The cave-like location in which a garden filled with flowers was resting in the middle was Alexander. Yuri tried to create a spear made of mana and shot it towards Alexander at lightning speed. Before it could even damage anything the flowers glowed split second and the spear disappeared.

"You know anything you do will be useless when I'm in the middle of this garden~"

Alexander said with provocation, Yuri however tried a different method. And that's a hand grenade. Alexander's eyes just knit and sighed. He threw the ball of black clumped worm and it latched into a fish.

"Well… Well… try and find me again~"

Yuri removed the pin and threw it at Alexander like a baseball thrower, his pitch was faster than any eye could see. But before he could even do any damage the entire cave-like structure disappeared and Yuri was left at the bottom of the dark ocean, feeling the explosion of the grenade he failed to throw at Alexander.

The last word Yuri had was a yell under the sea, the seething rage he had would boil the water at an immense rate it could be mistaken for an underwater volcano.

Later, there would be reports about a minor tsunami that stood 5 meters above the shoreline.

"So, we wait?"

"Yeah, we wait."

Yula and Lenneza were chilling in the park after they went to the Bureau to register a newly developed company made in the name of Leonard. Being an aristocrat gives you a lot of privilege in this world.

After they registered the newly made company it was now hiring time, in three days they made posters and a lot of advertisements. Including one singular Billboard on the highways of the city.

It's good to have a lot of money. Especially with the amount of allowance Leonard has in his pockets.

"We should be expecting things in a week, right?" Lenneza asked

"Yeah. Just make sure to keep your messages in check." Yula affirmed.

"We'll check it in a week."

"Okay."

With that, both went back to Leonard's room who's currently trying to match Lorraine's battle sense in cubecraft.
