(chapter 2- explosion)

I am on my way to district 12 junior high school. I'm walking on the sidewalk while listening to some music with my earphone.

"I hope they sell takoyaki in the school canteen today," I say with a somewhat hopeful voice

Suddenly, I hear a loud explosion from a building near the road. "run! it's a terrorist attack" shouted by a middle-aged woman who was coming out of the building where the explosion happens. Everybody was shouting and screaming, they are running around without directions, it was pure chaos.

I took a deep breath and sigh, "I should have taken the bus instead of walking"

"stay calm everyone, please calm down and evacuate immediately " said by a police officer through a megaphone with a calm voice.

"no pushing!" shouted by another police officer who stayed in the police car.

"what a way to start a day" I say while giggling

I hide under a table from the cafe near the building, waiting for everyone to evacuate. For what? I don't really know, I just feel like it I guess. I don't want to be stuck between those people, I rather be killed with a bullet in my head than by being squashed by people trying to get to safety.
