Accident

They left the hotel with disappointment in Abel's heart. She walked on loose-strapping shoulders, growing more and more desperate as that beautiful face didn't show up its smile.

Lia, who didn't know what to do, reached up to Abel and led her straight to the basement. The occasional exhaling of her friend made Lia feel her gloom too.

When they reached the basement, the two girls in incomplete high school uniforms looked for a motorcycle in the parking lot. Lia deftly tracked down dozens of motors parked in B blocks that were crowded enough back then, while Abel stayed miserable with her face down deep.

"Bell, the bike is over there. Come on," take Lia after finding her bike.

"I'll wait here, Li," Abel replied in a weak voice. She doesn't look away from the ground either.

After taking a deep breath and looking over Abel, Lia then moved to her motorbike, which was parked at the corner of that B block. She turned the bike around so that it was now right in front of Abel's standing position. "Hurry up," the pretty girl told Abel.

Although not answering, Abel went up to take the passenger seat, she also hugged Lia's stomach and leaned her cheek against her friend's shoulder. To be honest, Lia actually objected because she was feeling very tickled. But this time, Abel needed her shoulder for Dhani's grief. Lia then pulled out the motor gas by letting Abel lean heavily on her shoulder.

It had just been a few seconds since her bike started to drift, without Lia even realizing there was a bike from behind that had passed over and touched Lia's right elbow. She was shocked to the point of losing control and pulling her motor gas so hard.

 - ssrreeettt! Brakk!

"Aaaa!" screamed Lia and Abel before the dark covered up their sight.

The crash was inevitable, and they bounced off the high velocity of the bike.

As the minutes passed, Liia felt the sting on her left cheek. Slowly she opened her eyes, rubbing her cheeks gently that she found out injured, also an extreme pain in the elbows of her hands. Lia whims in pain, along with memories that haven't fully recovered because she was faint for a moment.

"Abel?" She whined again after looking around and found Abel knocked unconscious a few yards from her position, "Abel...," she called and tried to get off the street despite the pain.

 - tin! - tin!

"What's up, Baby?" There was a female voice in the car that stopped right in front of Lia's bike that cuts through the entrance to block B.

"I'll come down for a bit. Seems there was an accident," that man said, responding to the woman's speech.

The woman nodded in agreement, she was also curious about what had happened and decided to go down and chase the man who was with her.

"Oh, my god, are you okay?" he asked as he helped Lia up.

"Please help my friend, Sir," said Lia.

"Alright, you come to my car first," he said.

Lia was grateful for someone passing by and helping her, she gave a wistful smile as she looked up. She should say thank you, but her lips are locked as soon as she sees that someone who is helping her is the person Abel wants to meet.

 "Dhani?" she mumbled to herself.

"Honey, help me take her to the car," said Dhani. Looks calm.

He was very clever, pretending not to know Lia and Abel in front of a woman his age who was still sitting in the car. The brown-haired woman stared in horror at Lia because there was a cut on her cheek, a sharp cut on her temple.

"Alright, for god's sake... how did you fall?" she asked full of attention, "honey let me grab this girl, you help her friend," the anxious woman continued.

Dhani nodded quickly, then ran toward Abel, who was still unconscious. Lia wanted to see that man's reaction when he found out his girlfriend had been in an accident, but the woman who was helping her didn't give her a chance to turn around.

She wondered in her heart, how could they be met in such a situation? And... who that nice lady was? Dhani's girlfriend too? Lia even felt her head spinning again as the questions settled in her mind.

"Sit here first, okay," the woman said very softly after opening the side door of the car and sending Lia in.

Lia immediately caught her eye on Dani, who was walking toward the car carrying Abel. The man's face looked anxious, some kernels of sweat streaming down his temple. Inside her heart, Lia is waiting for the kind of drama Dani's going to play. Would that pervert be begging Abel for forgiveness for the umpteenth time when it was proven that the woman he was with was one of his girlfriends? Lia couldn't wait for that alligator-mouthed man's drama to start again.

"Baby, did she pass out?" said the woman, when Dhani got in front of the car.

"Open the door first, Rin," Dani ordered the woman.

'Yuck. Abel, you wouldn't leave Dhani after this? Stupid!' blurted Lia in her heart as to the folly of her friend.

Dani put Abel next to the wheel seat, put in her seat belt, and rushed behind the wheel. "Rin, go in quickly," asked Dhani, immediately obeyed by that brown-haired woman.

While suffering pain on one side of her face and elbow, Lia looked at Dhani's panic as Abel had yet to show signs of waking up. While beside her, the look of a woman called 'Rin' by that pervert, must not have known that the girl in high school uniform now sitting next to her boyfriend was a special girl in Dhani's heart.

"Hey, why on earth did you fall off the bike?" asked Dani with a quick glance at Lia from the rearview mirror.

Clearly, his voice sounded nervous.

"Whose name is falling is accidental, Uncle." Lia chimed in.

'Shit. This bloody nag is calling me uncle again.' Dhani silently cursed.

'Bell, get up. You should see that Dhani hasn't changed. He's still playing with a woman, Bell,' Lia says to herself. He was dying and wanted Abel to see the shit of her vaunted boyfriend.

"Who's your name, Uncle? I'm Lia and that's my friend, Abel," said Lia. Don't know what she was thinking, but her question had made Dani's heart thump.

While Rin slightly smiled at Lia's question, she also waited for Dhani to answer it.
