Episode 12

"How is it amazing to give away the baby that you helped create?"

"Well, I know that they are going to go to great families that will love them and give them everything that they need. I can't give the babies that right now, but I'm sure when my time is over, I will get to see them again and they'll love me and understand me."

I listened to her talk and I started to feel sick. Was that going to be me? Was I going to lose myself here?

I looked at her and watched her every move. I came to conclusion that she was a fucking delusional and brain washed girl. I felt sorry for her...and me.

"Your name is Jade, right?"

I nodded. "Yes."

"Well Jade, I just want you to know that the Luna chose you to be a breeder because she believed that you would be the best person for this incredible position. We are blessed to help others. Do you have any questions that you are dying to ask me?"

I thought about it and then I asked the first thing that I could think of.

"What if you meet your mate, Chloe? What then?"

For the first time since she stepped foot in here, she looked away from me...and blushed.

"I know that I don't know you, but I have to tell someone." She began. "I have met my mate."

"WHAT?!"

She nodded as she turned her attention back to me.

"He's one of the guards that come and check on us here. His name is Charles and he is amazing."

"Chloe, we...can't...have mates."

She sighed and looked off from me again.

"I know but I don't want to give him up. He loves me and I love him."

"He knows that you're a breeder though, right?"

"Yeah, he does, and he hates it, but I told him the same thing that I told you...I have to help these families and then I will spend the rest of my life with him."

I listened to every word that left her mouth and I felt so sad for her. No real man, especially one with our possessive werewolf gene, would be accepting of their woman fucking other men and bearing their children for most of her life. She seemed sweet and I didn't want to crush her dream.

It might be the reason why she can still smile in this hell hole.

"And I believe that you, Jade, will find your mate too."

"I hope not." I mumbled.

She laughed. "You think that, but the mate bond is so amazing. I wish that everyone could feel it. Including you!"

She stood up and headed towards the door.

"It was a pleasure to meet you Jade. I just wanted to come over here and welcome you to the breeder's farm. We will bring happiness to so many families. You

just wait and see."

I looked in her eyes and I saw pure happiness. I didn't understand it or her, if I am being honest. However, I wanted to keep it sweet, so I nodded in return.

"It was really nice to meet you too."

"Well, I will be seeing you soon. I promise. You get some rest and I will definitely do the same. Come visit me some time, sister breeder."

She waved at me and then she left.

My mind felt like it was going to explode from all the madness that it has witnessed today.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as I prayed once againo the moon goddess, begging her to take me away from this place.

No sooner than she left, I heard a car pull up.

"Fuck me!" I whined. "Why won't these people leave me alone?"

I opened the door before they could knock on it.

"How may I help you?"

The guy smiled and showed me the bags that he had in his hand.

"I'm Jared. I will be one of the guards here tonight. I am here to make sure that you eat your dinner and take two of these supplement pills before you go to bed."

I turned around and looked at the clock on the mantle.

"It's not even 6pm yet."

"I understand that, however, I am sure that you've had a pretty long day already. I'm just here to help."

I nodded and stepped to the side to let him in, but he shook his head.

"No. We are not allowed to enter a breeder's home. You must eat and take the pills in front of me right here in the door."

"Are you serious?" I asked.

He simply nodded and handed me the bag with the prepared food and bottles of pills.

I didn't feel like fighting anymore today so I quickly gobbled down the pot roast and potatoes that he brought me and swallowed the two pills right in front of him.

I opened my mouth to show him that I swallowed the pills and he nodded at me.

"Good. Have a good rest of the night, breeder."

And with that, he walked back to his car and drove off.

I closed and locked the door and headed to the bedroom.

I'm not sure what the pills were supposed to do but before my head could fully touch the pillow...I was knocked out cold.
